Are you in Canada? The Canadian Sport has blackout badging but AFAIK all the US "sport" trims have chrome. I preferred the chrome wheels and generally like the chrome badges, although I may replace those hood emblems with black.

That's my assumption. It does work fine about half the time when the phone is centered on the charging area. But almost all the rest of the time, blinking red light.

Was going to say this. In the US, the Laramie Sport package has chrome tips, badging, and wheels. (Note the build-and-price recently added black wheels as an upcharge option) The Canadian “sport” package appears to be more like a US Laramie black? But not identical.
