The Jeep Garage tracking was the best $30 I’ve spent so far on this truck. If they are still accepting new VINs, do it.
Just about to land in VA to pick up my truck!
On the crew cab laramie, it still shows 4400 and it includes the 19 speaker sound system.. on the quad cab laramie it shows 3400 and no sound system.
I'm not sure you can trust the online build and price, there have been a couple of odd glitches on there.
If I build out a 4x4 laramie crew with...
They were about $4000 cheaper than my best local dealer. The experience of buying from them (so far) was so much better that I’m happy to take the road trip home.
Will report back after I pick it up.
I was relieved to see that the interior (And exterior) is mostly black and finally got to see what the wheels look like... picking it up next week and then a thousand mile drive home.
Everyone keeps asking me why I didn't get the black package - honestly I'm not a fan of black wheels OR...
There is the "trailer tow group" ($300 on laramie) which includes the tow mirrors and brake controller, and then there is the "trailer brake control" ($295 on laramie) which is just the controller.
Do you actually need the brake controller? My understanding is that you can always plug it in...
I spoke too soon! Truck Pick-Up / Yard Exit 06/01/18 01:31:45 PM JESSUP, MD VDC (on truck to dealer)
Looks like it'll get there tonight/tomorrow. I've got a plane ticket for the 11th to pick it up!
My Laramie Sport made it off the train and now is sitting at a lot 20 miles away from the dealer for 8 days. Can't win. LOL
Incidentally, has anyone actually seen a Laramie sport? I haven't spotted one in any of the online ads and combed through a thousand or so the other day. I must have...
I agree that I'd like the hemi to have more power, and am disappointed that there hasn't been much talk about etorque really improving on that... at the same time, I can appreciate the fact that the hemi+8 speed has been a reliable, proven powertrain. None of that stopped me from ordering a...
I hear your frustration.
1% under invoice is possible (which should be about $5k off) with a supplier code. If you look into it, you'll discover that joining Tread Lightly for $100 or so a year will get you a supplier code. (not sure if there are restrictions on time limit etc) I was...
The plastic liner in my 2011 has served me well for 7 years. There are some ways I actually prefer it to spray-in coatings. But more importantly, it's half the price of a good spray job, and if I change my mind later, I can always remove it and spray. Can't go the other way around.
I didn't get the spray-in bedliner and am having some trouble finding out what plastic liner (if any) is available for my 2019 Crew..
The Canada Mopar Accessories catalog listed a part # for this.... but I can't find that same reference in the US. (and not sure I should trust an early release...
Mine is just offloaded from the train at its final destination and on the truck to the dealer. I was about 60 days from order to build, and I suspect the only reason it got built is that someone put a rush on it at the 55 day mark. (much appreciated, stranger!) I had a cust service case...
Yeah, seems that that the build tracking isn't useful or maybe not even working at all for this plant.
Mine went from an actual human saying "we don't know when it will be built, probably later this month" on Monday, to completed, passed factory inspection, and in status KZ today. Zero updates...
The biggest benefit to the jeepgarage tracking seems to be that once it is built they actually report pretty good visibility into the rail transport etc.
The "case that was escalated" for me by the ramtrucks chat people came back with an answer of "it should be built late may but check back in...
Got a helpful rep (Darryl) on the chat today who at least expressed some empathy that my truck has been in D1 for 21 days. He created a ticket and said he’d escalate to try to find out why it has taken so long to go to build.
Not normal on the previous gen, although that first jump could just be the thermostat opening up. . To be that sounds like you may have an air bubble in the system/coolant low? Mayb they relocated the sensor which is causing more unusual readings.
I agree that this feels excessive. Worse is that once it is built the next steps are just as backed up. I’m 3 weeks earlier than you and still no progress on my build. It is starting to look like it’ll take 3 months from my order to delivery.
