The doors speakers are only used to produce mid-bass. That might be why yours seem muffled. I'm not saying you don't have an genuine problem but if the overall volume seems okay it's possible that you're just expecting something that isn't supposed to be there.

By "splash screen" are you referring to the animation the instrument cluster shows at startup? That's not what people are having problems with — the problem is the cluster theme during operation. It will stick for a while (maybe as long as a few days) then reverts to the default.

The simplest solution would be to buy a charge-only cable (or "data blocker" adapter) and use that for the other phones.

The stock wheels on a Laramie are 18". You practically need to custom order to get them, though, as most dealer inventory seems to be 20s. I don't see the appeal of large wheels/low-profile tires on a truck. 18s for me. :)

You should have it, though my experience (8.4 NAV) is that it's only available when you have a cellular signal. It can take a little while after turning on the truck before the icon shows up.
