That sounds good. Which subs? I figure I will eventually do something under seat.
I like the helix stuff, probably what I will go with if I ever go active.
Correct. I found that 6 worked well in the 2014. I will disconnect the others. In the future I may go with an active setup with 3-way up front, but for now Im trying to work with what I have so there is not a lot of added cost.
Thanks!
Im seriously thinking about tearing into my truck. I got nowhere to go and nothing but time for the next 4-6 weeks. I have a full stereo from my 2014 Limited 1500 that I am going to install along with sound deadening in my 2019 Limited 1500 with HK system.
I will be using the following...
Same, you can search and there is tons of good feedback for Jeremy M. of Retroshop out of St. Louis area.
Supplied the HID kits and answered plenty of questions for me when I had 4th Gen. Would do business with them anytime.
I think some states require you to wait until its sold to prove the amount of diminished value. If that was the case, it would be beneficial to sell it immediately for a loss if you knew they would cover the difference.
Good luck and glad to hear everyone is safe and the truck stood up to...
I definitely noticed this on my 2014 Ram. If you are in a rush and go through the movements as described by Grayman5752 very quickly it would stay in "limbo" and show D on the shifter, but still be in neutral. On mine it would also prompt something on the dash cluster, like Vehicle not in...
Thats what I assumed, some of them had to be 2-way, but wasn't sure which were. That at least makes the math add up, so you are probably right! Thanks!
So my friend and I both have 2019 Limiteds. We keep trying to figure out where all 19 speakers are located in the HK system.
3 - Dash and center channel
4 - Doors 6 x 9's
4 - Each door has a separate tweeter location
2 - Rear headliner
1 - Sub
That is only 14.
We looked on HK website...
Yes, this has been done many times. If you search for it you should be able to find the posts. I don't think its super difficult to swap, but also not super easy. Somewhere in the middle as I recall reading.
Good luck!
I haven't noticed what you show in the photo. No wear yet, but mine is still basically brand new. I will check in a few and post a photo of what mine looks like in the same position.
Good call. I just bought mine a couple weeks ago and Amazon was $254 or something like that at the time.
And also I have air suspension. This can be installed on any trim and driveline, they are all the same.

Second vote for the Hellwig Sway Bar. That is the exact purpose to help minimize body roll both when cornering and when driving over bumps, like speed bumps in a parking lot. I never felt like there was excessive body roll in my new 2019 Ram (Possibly since I had a 2014 for 5 years before this...
Are you sure everything got plugged back in properly? I could see if an antenna was not connected it may not have access to the cell service and the apps. Sort of a long shot. Im very interested as I was close to installing the same unit.
Curious to see 12.1 removal and AmpPro install. I have my whole previous setup ready to go, just been apprehensive about tearing into the brand new truck!
Sorry to break the bad news, but there is a 15% factory incentive and most dealers will kick in around 10%-12% giving totals of 25+% off MSRP.
This applies to all models and trim levels of 1500 DT (new style) Ram.
A lot of people are not happy that bought a few months or even a few days...
