The MDH number indicates the month, day and hour that the truck was built.

So, Ram is different. The only two manufacturers I've checked for the build date in the past are Ford and Tesla. Both of those only include the month and year: MMYY or MM/YY

Unless Ram is different from other manufacturers, the door sticker will only show the month and year the truck was built...not the exact date. So, I'm not sure that will tell us anything. It is a good thought, though!

@RDSnj2021's truck was delivered to MD yesterday. So, I'm not the first to arrive. I did check with Ram Chat today and they have an ETA on delivery to MD. If this ends up being true, it will be delivered much quicker than Sandi told me to expect.

Have your dealer send you the Priced Order Confirmation (POC) for your order. The top of the POC should list your current status as well as some other useful information. Here's the top portion of one for mine when I was in D1:

This is what I get when building the 2022 Limited which looks fine to me. From your 2022 picture, I definitely preferred the black with the 2021 instead. Was that a 2022 Big Horn?

The destination of the trucks is likely another factor as you said. Between logistics of shipping and some factor to make sure all dealers have trucks being built (whether sold or for the lot), we end up with a cluster****.
