My dad as a 5.0 Ford. My take on the comparison is that the Ford seems "detuned" as compared to my RAM. The Ford always seems to be trying to shift in the highest gear possible keeping the RPMs low. As was mentioned, the 5.0 makes some respectable power at higher RPMs, but it feels like the...
Looking for some ideas/inspiration. Bought my current house a couple years back and other projects have been taking priority. It's time to get the garage squared away. 24'x30' garage that is pretty much a blank canvas.
ATV rider here! I have a 2017 Honda Rancher 4x4
I'm also a pretty avid three wheeler rider. I have a Honda 250R and a Yamaha 225DX. Tons of fun in the snow! Also have a couple others that are kinda projects.
Exterior: I follow a similar process. The more debris you can remove before hand washing, the better. Wash in horizontal strokes in one direction the way the wind would sweep your truck - if that makes sense. Might want to try a high quality microfiber towel specifically designed for drying...
I read through a lot of the 3.21 vs 3.92 threads here on the forum. Seems like those options are kind of on the extreme ends of the spectrum of gear ratios that would be applicable to a 1500 platform. Why no middle of the road option like 3.55 as offered in 4th gen? Seems there are many folks...
I'd try letting your truck run for a little longer than 20-30 seconds to full allow starting/warm up procedures in the engine and computer to complete. Might help limit condensation created by only achieving a low operating temperature.
I also went with the DeeZee bedmat over top of my spray in Linex Premium liner. Proper fitment (not quite perfect in my case but that likely because it's on top of a spray in liner), extra protection, and great traction - no slipping.
There are many...many exhaust threads on this forum, so do some searches to start your research. Something to keep in mind is that exhaust characteristics are very subjective and also difficult to capture on video/recording.
As far as suggestions, B2 Fabrication is an awesome company that...
Well, he did it. He put on the 44" Super Swampers! Put on a bunch of wheel spacers to make it work...smh.... But I gotta say, it is CRAZY to watch this truck on 44s!!
This actually doesn't bother me. Just like watching cars get torn up on the race track, or mud trucks get smoked out bogging. Nothing I'd ever do with one of my vehicles, but it's not my truck. Dumb...but epic.
I checked out this video and the guy's channel over the weekend. I gotta say, many of his videos entertained me. And the TRX jump.... dumb but epic. I have no problem watching people tear up their own stuff whether that be on the racetrack, in some guy's field, at a mud truck event, in...

ahhh ok, now I see what @Smon is saying. You use the cruise control buttons. I thought that post meant that you activate and run the two systems concurrently.
