I use a Pulsar and a throttle controller. It might be somewhat redundant, but it really gives you a lot of ability to dial in throttle response to your preference. I enjoy having both.
If that's the way you want to go - go for it. Personally, I don't pay much attention to MPG as my truck is not a daily driver and is used mostly for pleasure.
But based on the responses to your question so far, you are choosing the opposite of what everyone has suggested based on the use your...
For highway driving I'd definitely say 3.21 - they will still do fine towing moderate weight on occasion. 3.92s provide a little more low end torque/acceleration. There really isn't a huge difference. Lots of very informative threads out there with more detail.
I thought I remembered a thread on this from a while back, but I can't seem to track it down.

Repair is done! I'm pretty happy with the result. If I look really closely, I can tell where the original damage was. But that's because I'm very particular with stuff like this; it looks much much better. This repair was not cheap - $500. Overall, I'm happy and would do it again -...
I tried to do my due diligence in selecting the right person/company for the job. I've been communicating with the person for a few months now. When I told him I was going to call around for quotes he actually mentioned to be sure I ask others about their experience with aluminum and explained...
Well, I did it. Finally scheduled paintless dent repair for 3 dents that have been bothering me. One door ding from a parking lot and 2 tailgate dents that were both my fault  . Has anyone else had PDR done on your RAM and specifically the tailgate? The guy doing my repair says he...
Ordered! I'll give it a try. I see you used it on Duratracs. I like to use spray products on tires with sidewall tread - wipe on products are kinda tough.
Totally agree with above statement on MDS "off" modes - you can hear/feel it kick in for a brief moment and then kick off. When I want MDS truly off, I still use the gear limiter buttons on the wheel.
