Just got my 2022 sport GT. Very buggy and laggy uconnect 5. My satellite radio doesn't even appear as a media option.
Keep switching screens on its own.
Sever lag when switching screens, music tracks and at times the steering wheel controls don't work..... Lol
Does anyone know how to update it...
Just something user friendly. My truck wasn't activated at the dealer. So I don't have satellite radio as a media option and have to take it back in to have it reprogrammed or something.
The new uconnect 5 can connect to wifi from the head unit to get the updates, but again not intuitive. I...
Just measured. From ground to fender.
Also replaced factory GT decals with matte black.
New front height is just a hair under 41"
New rear height is just a hair under 43"
Previous height front 36 3/4
Previous height rear 38 1/2
I do that, but in the day when the sun is shining I can hardly see the screen. I use the manual mode and adjust the brightness for headlights on/off. Then leave the wheel just clicked under but it's like it doesn't save my settings. This unconnect 5 is not laid out in a way that's user...
Just curious if anyone knows how to have the screen be fully bright during the day and automatically goto night mode so my accent lighting turns on.
Aside from manually using the brightness wheel by the headlight switch.
I tried googling it, nothing.
Yea, I'm really glad I didn't preemptively put the ORP springs in the front. The standard kit works perfectly. Ride quality is better than stock. Still smooth, no breaking loose over tracks. Very comfortable. Even with the big tires.
There's a slight rub at full lock on the wheel liner.
The rear spacer is the 2" Mopar spacer that comes the the kit.
I'm really liking the look and ride quality.
Here it is. Mopar lift AD kit. No ORP springs.
Looking at it now, I feel like ORP springs might make it appear nose high
Tires are 285/55/22 Toyo at3s
2022 Ram Sport GT non ORP night edition. Love the look, ride quality is amazing even with the bigger tires.
The Mopar cat back exhaust is...
I'm absolutely certain you're right. That's why I asked them if they had the ORP springs in stock. Which they do. Lol
I don't want to eliminate the rear spacer, then it's just a super expensive level. But I also don't want over .5"-1" of rake
Well, my 2022 Sport GT night edition finally landed at the dealer. They'll be installing the AD Mopar lift and assured me with the new kit. The rake is almost eliminated. (I don't believe them) But, I made a deal that if they're right and I'm wrong, I'll bring them lunch. If I'm right, they add...
Thank you, that is not the best angle with the Mopar UCAs. So I will stick with the standard mopar 2" lift/level and 285/55/22 rubber.
Hopefully it look higher than pictures.
I'll upload them as soon as my truck lands. Lol The thing that sold me on the GT was the console shifter(didn't mind the dial, but that giant unorganized void under the cupholders was to much), and new seats. Exhaust and intake are added bonuses. With all the chip shortages, the spec trucks...
Hey everyone,
Well I traded my 2020 sport/Laramie. Got my 2022 Sport GT night edition, non orp coming(was an absolute struggle to find a truck with every I wanted) ordered the Mopar lift and 285/55/22 Toyo At3's.
Didn't go 35's because I'm using my night edition rims, and have no fender flares...
Best case, was getting roughly 15mpg. Maybe some people got unicorns that got a unheard of 25 mpg. Which is roughly 9L/per100km. If that was my truck, I would call Chrysler and let them know they created a miracle. 😂 Trucks burn that when they're sleeping.
Lucky. I even put 15000km on it from September 1-November 10. Primarily highway during bow season. My "eco" hardly illuminated. Found it shifting between 7-8 in winds and hills.(Northern, and western Alberta)
To each their own. but for me, Never again.
As someone newer here.
I've had a 2012, and a 2015 with the 3.92. best power and fuel economy out of any truck I've owned. My 2015 sport would get roughly 500+miles per 33 gallon tank.
My 2020 had the 3.21(wasn't focused when buying, switched dealers after that)with the 27 gallon? tank maybe...
