I went with 3.92 on my build keeping future uses and upgrades in mind. I plan to upsize the tires once the factory ones wear out, and in a couple years I'll probably be towing a good bit. For that same reason I got the brake controller.
I got an email about a week later with my VIN from Ram.
As for limitations, if it was available when you ordered, it shouldn't be a thing to hold up the order. When I ordered, Ram Boxes weren't an option on the Big Horn, nor were LED lights, though I have seen they were in the past.
I usually buy the purple from Menards, no issues in my wife's Infiniti QX30 (Mercedes GLA250). It is rated at -32°, so no frozen washer fluid in Ohio. I have yet to get my Ram, but will post if the purple causes issues.
Well, Nissan is still struggling to get back on stable ground, GM is still flailing from all the battery fires, and Ford is selling just fine without incentives.
I was browsing Amazon for accessories for my truck that is on order and got an open box deal on a set of these last month. With the winter slush here I definitely wanted a set on my truck.

When I went to order mine, I was teetering on the air suspension, as it was an expensive add on (already at $60k with other adds), the salesman quips, "even more expensive to fix", yep regular springs are fine for me, lol.
