I bought my truck about 300 miles away. The only downside I can see is they were offering a lifetime powertrain warranty and all I had to do was bring it in and have it inspected once a year to make sure I hadn’t modified it, which I didn’t do. They also gave me coupons for the first 5 oil...
Dang it! 89k sticker for a “Remove Hellcat Option” carryover TRX bodied 1500. Gonna have to do better than 10k off to get me interested. Sorry, I’m such an old man. Logging off now. Hope you sell every one of them though. Probably won’t find a better deal than Mark Dodge.
I’m trying my best to talk myself into liking these new options because I’m going to trade soon, but I just can’t like the standard output Rebel version no matter how many “GT” or “X” decals they put on it, and for base price $70,000 RHO (remove hellcat option) 540 hp truck, I would just get...
Absolutely and my point exactly! It would be equivalent to the 2022-24 trucks coming out with the pentastar 3.6 and calling them the GT! That’s what’s happening with the new generations. Hard pass, I don’t need a Limited with the H.O. engine. I need a Rebel. Dang it
Makes no sense to increase the price of a standard rebel, call it a “GT” and equip it with the same standard output motor. Nobody is gonna pay extra for some decals and paddle shifters. It’s exactly like the kids we made fun of slapping “5.0” badges on 4 cylinder fox body mustangs back in...
I live in Kentucky. No inspections. I’m fairly sure Mustang owners can get pulled over here if they don’t have the converters cut off with straight pipes and 40 series flowmasters. Cigarettes and 3 car seats in the back are optional.
My grandpa had an LTD once. It was probably longer than a power wagon, but had loads of trunk space. 😅 You’re better off going half ton 5.7 if gas mileage is a concern. The power wagon 3/4 ton weighs more and has lower gears, which will adversely affect mileage
I haven’t had the first problem with eTorque and don’t even notice it now. 2020 Rebel with 30k miles on it. The start/stop bothers some people, but I don’t even notice it at red lights and stop signs now.
I have a buddy that has a Laramie Sport with 22’s and we both agree my Rebel rides better. I think bigger sidewalls on the tires cushion the bumps more than the lower profile ones
I slept on my side with legs bent in a sleeping bag. Pillow under my head and pillow between my legs. Seems like I had a little more leg room sleeping with my head on the passenger side lying on my left side. Good luck.
Just an FYI here. I slept in the back of my Rebel crew cab on a fishing trip for 4 nights in a sleeping bag with a pillow with the seats folded up. You can lock the doors. The only uncomfortable piece I kept hitting was the side pieces of the factory under seat storage box thing. The front...
Great review but what does “NVH” mean? “….a bit of NVH at 1200 rpm’s.” “….actually had less NVH than the 6.4”
I’m and old man I guess and not up on my acronyms. SMDH ROFLMAO!
