My 2020 visors work as well as they did new. So, I think this is more of a "happens to a few" thing not every one. That's why there isn't a recall.

You will need the dealer to program it to your truck. It's a security module. It's behind the back seat. You can try to start the vehicle by pushing the start button with the bottom end of the key fob. Do you have a rear window leak?
