GMC one is overcomplicated, imagine how much it costs if the tailgate is hit on something. Ram MFT solves the main issue with conventional tailgates, the length you have to reach over the tailgate. Me truck would be perfect if I had the MFT available at the time. Dont think you can just swap...
1500 Limited is my first truck and loving it after coming from cars. Cant find a car at that same price point that has all the features. Just feels great to throw a buncha of stuff in and not worry if it will fit in a car.
only extra thing that would make my truck perfect would be the split tailgate, but I did get 18k off during last Junes big sale. Otherwise, very happy with the trim and options I got
when i first got hte truck i tried out a couple tanks of 87, ran noticeably more sluggish, harder to get the mpg I got on 89. Swapped back to 89 and was noticeably better
i had my media hub replaced a couple weeks ago. Android Auto and USB music worked fine since new, then one day just stopped working, dealer placed the media hub and has been working fine.
i get about 17-17.5 mpg with a mix city/hwy, pretty much what the sticker says. 4x4 3.21. Best I ever got was 21.5 mpg on the computer on a trip from Houston to Lake Charles, pretty flat @ 75 mph. Noticed a drop in mpg with the winter blend gas though over summer.
best thing to do is make...
Why also I use the filters with synthetic elements, rated for longer intervals. But even the car manufacturers are doing 10k mile oil changes on the same oil filter they did 5k on.
if you want to know the true oil life of your engine, send your oil sample to blackstone labs so they can measure the Total Base Number (TBN) which is the amount of additives left that will counter the acidic byproducts of combustion which causes the oil to start sludging. I guarantee you that...
for bed cover, dont rule out tri folds too for more security. They are bit pricier. This is my first truck too after having many cars over the years. All my mods seem to be mods that increase the trucks practicality. I changed the bins in the floor of the cab to ones with lockable lids...
youll be surprised
I think the GMC one is overly complicated. Who knows what the real price is since you have to bundle it with a higher trim package. My 2019 would be perfect with the split tailgate but I had to get the truck last year during the +15% off MSRP extravaganza
you know what they say about Goodyears, they are good for a year
waiting for my 20" bridgestone duelers to die off, then I can get Michelin LTX Defenders
