Found all relays under the hood had worked themselves 1/4" to 3/8" out of their sockets.

I was under my hood troubleshooting a drained battery when I discovered that all the relays in the main fuse block had worked their way nearly out of their sockets. Rough guess is that they were all 1/4 - 3/8" out from fully seated. Curious if anyone else has ever noticed this phenomenon?

    Replacement air suspension boot ?

I'm thinking a guy should buy a couple of these just to keep on hand in case of a failure. How long did it take to get from China? Also, what was the nature of the failure?

2025 ram 1500 bed cap wiring. Keyless lock

The locks are all 12VDC so I am assuming that what they are saying is that the trigger circuit that you would normally tap into, has been changed to a different voltage on the 2025 models. In this instance, you may be able to use relays to trigger or possibly just order a new lock kit that...

2021 RAM 1500 Limited is Getting 8.5 MPG, Easy Driving, No Aftermarket Upgrades or Mods

Curious if the previous owner had larger tires at some point and made any adjustments to the tire selection in the computer. 8.5 MPG seems very low, even for a "spirited" driver. As a quick check, you could take a drive and see if the odometer matches what a map service says the route should be.

Ecodiesel spotlighting problem! (PLEASE DONT COOK ME)

Easiest and simplest is to install an airbag system in the rear and adjust the pressure to get the truck level again. I've always run the Firestone systems but there are plenty of good options on the market. I skip the onboard compressor option and set my pressures manually to match my load...

    Shock Replacement/Upgrade?

I should note that the Billstein part number I referenced for the rear, (and installed on my truck), is not the same part # as OEM for trucks with air suspension. It fits and it works but I cannot say what the difference(s) could be, other than the OEM part being 3 times the cost. There's been...

    Shock Replacement/Upgrade?

I replaced my OEM's around 122K miles but I should have done them sooner. I upgraded to Bilstein B6 4600's and am quite happy. The only two options I found that fit the air suspension (Front anyways), were both OEM. Either Hitachi, like your truck came with, or the Bilstein 4600's that they put...

    Cracked Manifold?

There are several threads on the topic but my comments were a decent summary of them. The few times I did ask a dealer to look at my truck, they said to leave the truck for 3-5 days for them to "diagnose" the issues. That's a no bueno for me so 2 hrs and $65 later, I resolved the problem...

    Cracked Manifold?

Shorty headers = 15x the cost of OEM with 90% chance of cracking and no perceivable performance benefit. Long tube headers = 30x the cost, plus added cost of a tune,, modify or replace existing exhaust and other corresponding mods but you'd get actual performance gains if you were so inclined to...

    Truck shaking at idle

My shake has never been bad enough to spill my drink but I do get a rough idle depending on where I fuel up. It's happened enough that I've made the switch to Mid grade fuel with an occasional tank of Premium depending on where I'm fueling. The more consistent I am with good fuel, the better it...

    Ongoing abnormal treadwear issue?

Don't know what to tell ya, I've had the same issue on every vehicle I've ever owned. The most common denominator is the driver.

    Ongoing abnormal treadwear issue?

Outside wear is very common on the front steering tires due to cornering. The more aggressive you turn, the faster you run through round-abouts, tight corners, etc, the more you will notice this.

Driver Heated Seat does not come on with Remote or all All Starts

Good find! It sucks that we have to go into the control modules and fix such trivial manufacturing mistakes but I'm very thankful that such tools exist because it would suck even worse if we had to rely on dealerships to chase down and fix every little thing.

    2019 RAM 1500 Heater Core

Until I got around to replacing the heater core in my last 03, the only heat I had was from the seats. It was almost tolerable for how seldom it gets cold in Georgia.

    2019 RAM 1500 Heater Core

I've had the dashes out of at least 4 of my 3rd gen rams for either a heater core or blend doors so I'm curious how it compares to the 5th gen. I had it down to under 4 hrs on the last one but the trucks were much simpler. Does it still pull way from the firewall in one big assembly once you...

Way to ruin Ram Limited Experience with bubbling dashboard!

I agree with that conclusion. Mine didn't separate until I applied a leather treatment product and then it did it within a week. Thankfully I used very little, and my separation is only in two spots and very subtle.
