Happy with my Ram but am still annoyed that Ram cheaped out by not including keyless entry sensors on the rear doors. Even ignoring times when I have rear seat passengers, I use my rear seat a lot for storing stuff. While I usually remember to touch the front door handles first before opening...
My impression is that 95% of people preferred the black interior (I like Indigo too, but I think we're in the minority, and it admittedly doesn't wear as well).
So Ram isn't losing much by scrapping it.
Thanks for the replies thus far. It’s a 2021, which supposedly is not affected by the known A/C issues on the 19-20 models. That’s why I was wondering if this behavior is normal. Sounds like it isn’t. Maybe my A/C needs a recharge or something. I will probably bring it in.
I have this rattle and man, was it hard for me to find! I put several zip ties around the foam “sleeve” that wraps the cable. My thinking is that it would tighten the sleeve around the rattling cable inside. It is much better. However, I still occasionally hear the rattle, so not sure if the...
In my past cars, the A/C would run on max and lowest temperature until the car cooled down to the set temp (say, 70 degrees), and then the fan speed would drop to 1 while keeping the air temp cold to "trickle" cold air and keep the cabin temp constant.
In my Ram, instead of trickling very cold...
For those people trading: even though your trade in value is high, how does that help you since the vehicle you trade it in for is also going to be higher than normal, correct?
Even if I get 10k more on my trade, if there’s also a 10k markup on the replacement vehicle, it ends up being a wash.
Hi all,
I left the factory screen protector on my 8.4” screen. Touch response is pretty good, but I suspect it is slightly diminished by the screen protector.
I am thinking about taking it off. Has anyone had issues with scratches after taking it off?
For hardcore truck people who use their vehicles on job sites and stuff, I think the F-150 has the Silverado and Ram beat. Lots of interesting ideas in the 2021 Ford.
Until they replace their leaf springs though, Ram will trounce the Ford in terms of day to day livability, and that’s what most...
It does slide, but not quite far enough. On my F150, it went way back. On the Ram, they need to add a bit more travel. I could see this being a bigger issue for the taller folks, since my seat isn’t anywhere near all the way back.
Overall happy with the dongle on amazon. Do a search for wireless CarPlay, there’s a thread here somewhere. Most people generally satisfied, despite minor glitchiness on occasion.
My issue with them is that they did not tell me what the “conventional” financing rate would be when I ordered. It ended up being very high, plus they required a 6 year term, so even 6 months of financing would have cost quite a bit.
They sprung this on me the day I picked up my truck. They...
I saw your positive review of disconnecting the subwoofer before I did mine and it convinced me to do it. So glad I did! Seriously, WTF was Ram thinking? Did no one from Ram listen to the stereo before signing off on that sub?
While I am so glad I disconnected the sub, the cost of the HK...
yup, just pull the string to release the seat back, assuming you have a Laramie or higher. It pulls forward far enough to get your arm down to the plug. It is dark there so you may want a flashlight to see better.
I am the OP and I was ultimately successful. No great pics, but have a look at the first two posts. In the second post, there is a yellow circle around a white rectangular thing.
The white thing itself not the thing you disconnect. It is a bracket located directly in front of the plug that the...
