The real question is whether upgrading will be easier on a 2021 since those now come with LDW and FCW standard, vs. in 2020 when none of that was available outside the Advanced Safety Group.
I’m a towing newbie, but the times I did tow with my F150, it was recommended that I use a weight distribution hitch. The trailer weight around 5500 lb with everything inside.
If you have a Ram with the air suspension, do you still need a WDH? It was kind of a pain to connect and quite noisy...
i love the idea if the RamBox, but from what I’ve read, it prevents a tonneau cover from making a good seal worth the truck bed, resulting in a lot of water leakage.
Am getting ready to pull the trigger on my order. The online configuration is wonky, so just want to be sure:
I don’t want eTorque, but the online configurator basically makes it obligatory once I add any decent options. Is this a real issue, or is the configurator just buggy?
I could ask my...
Hi all,
My current vehicle has pretty good ride quality up front, but awful ride quality in the rear. I sit on the rear seat quite a bit because we have a baby. I wasn’t able to test this when I did my test drive in the Ram.
Does the very good ride quality up front also hold up in the rear...
14 percent off is slick, especially if that is after fees. I’d take it.
Are you anywhere near the west coast? If so, mind if I ask which dealer? Can PM me if you prefer.
Hi all,
The mountain brown interior is pretty rare relative to gray and black. For those who have it, how hard is it to keep clean? I’ll be taking it skiing, hiking, mountain biking, etc, so I expect interior to see quite a bit of dirt, sand, sunscreen, and damp clothing.
Do you wish you had...
I will definitely need a bed liner of some sort, and also side steps for my young child. For 2021, that will cost me $1,800, which seems like a lot.
Thoughts on the best more economical alternative to the factory Bed Utility Group and Wheel to Wheel Sidesteps options?
Thanks!
At least they should’ve offered it with just level 1. Or decreased the price, since all the hardware is already standard on a base Laramie, yet the advanced safety group is still the same price as last year.
Not sure I can spend 55k on a vehicle and not be able to get a 25 year old technology...
Pretty shocked that there is no way to get adaptive cruise on a 4WD Crew cab without paying 60-70k. I noticed the 2021 F-150 has it on models selling for a fraction of the price.
It’s doubly crazy since all the necessary hardware is available on the $595 package for Big Horn and Tradesman. All...
Yeah, really annoyed that they basically force you to get eTorque if you want any of the packages. I’m glad it’s only 200 dollars more, but the repair cost will be $2000 more at least.
My guess is that they were going to go to Uconnect 5 but due to production shutdown they have a huge supply of Uconnect 4 units that they didn’t get to use. Thus, they are going to keep producing Rams with Uconnect 4 into 2021 so that their supply of Uconnect 4 hardware doesn’t go to waste...
Annoyingly, other than the TRX, Ram is not discussing 2021 models until September 1st. My main question is whether Uconnect 5 will be included, but I couldn’t find anything in the TRX info.
There is a picture of the new HUD which is useful, as well as the new trailer brake controller. However...
