No I’m still waiting on the truck to be delivered. Looks like it should be in by middle of March and then will make a decision. It sounds like discount tire will allow an exchange within 30 days on the Toyos. Thinking about running the 285’s first then deciding on keeping them, etc.
No worries, I've been way over analyzing this whole situation.. lol. Hearing good things on both the ready lift kit and the Revel Kit however so doesn't seem like either is a bad option.
Looks awesome and thanks for sharing. I bought the revel links, pucks, and UCA's (not installed yet) from Revel Performance which I think is nearly identical to the ready lift kit with the exception of the adjustable links vs the relocatable bracket. The box actually says ready lift on it and...
That's really good to hear! I was concerned about jumping up to the E load mainly because I wasn't wanting to change the factory ride characteristics too much. What type of leveling kit did you install?
Ty,
Do you happen to remember the measurements of the Ready Lift 1.5" spacer? Was it really 1.5" or under that? I ended up ordering the Daystar spacer with links / UCA's and was wondering if the spacers between the two kits are actually the same dimensions. The daystar measures to 1.5"...
Debating between the Toyo at3 and recon grappler which both look to have great reviews. If they ride similar may have to go with the Toyo for what appears to be better snow performance. Do you have any experience with either of them?
Thanks for that detail, truck looks great and that’s good to hear. I was wondering if the air ride would help counter act the stiffness of e rated tires to some degree. They ride so nice from factory it’s hard to pull the trigger but I’ve heard a lot of people say they don’t notice a big...
I was looking at this same size (305/55/22) to throw on my limited with a leveling Kit. Do the really measure in at 35.2 in height per the specs? Did you have any issues with fitment or is your truck lifted?
Seems we are all in the same predicament when upsizing on the 22’ tires. I saw some older threads on discussions re (305/45/22 vs 285/55/22). A lot of us wanting a slightly larger tire but preferably one that doesn’t have too much extra weight, high load rating, etc. I have not run an E load...
I’m getting conflicting information regarding the overall ride quality and comfort of 10 ply tires. Some say they ride terrible and others say they are just slightly stiffer. It seems air pressure may be the key. In running them at 40 psi how noticeably different do they ride from stock...
Came across these today and very interested in the running a SL 35 to preserve the ride quality. And only 58 lbs is a nice bonus. I have a ram limited on order and getting ready to instal the revel kit upon arrival. Think these would fit good with just a 2.5 level, 0 offset wheel? Also saw...
I thought the same thing initially but looks like there’s a few people on here running the 35/12.50/22 on stock wheels with just a level. The guy at revel performance told me it would work also. Gone back and forth on this for awhile and thinking about getting them mounted just to see.
If you could do it again would you try a 305/55/22? Basically a 35/12.50/22 but the Recon Grappler comes in a standard load in that size. I’ve been really thinking about ordering these but not sure if they would fit in stock wheels. Looks like it would be just adding 2 inches in diameter...
I imagine you got a few more miles on these since this thread lol. Probably a lot more used to them now. How would you rate the ride quality at this point? Still happy with them? I have a 2023 on order and was thinking about trying to squeeze the recons (305/55/22) with the daystar level...
@Ram-a-Kin one other question I just thought of. How close are you to hitting the UCA’s at full lock? I know you mentions no rubbing but I imagine it has to be fairly close clearing with the 305’s and stock offset.
Anybody ran either of these sizes on stock 22 wheels? I have a Limited on order and likely will level with either the revel kit with UCA’s or the ready lift kit. The Toyo AT3 is at the top of the list as the 3 peak rating will be needed for snow about half of the year. For those that went...
