It's real simple to do the adjustment, but it is trial and error, to know how much. If it's real close, it may take as little as 1/8 of a turn. Just make sure, you lengthen one side, and shorten the other side, the same amount.

Are you towing properly? The transmission should be in park, and the transfer case in neutral. If not, that may cause the problem. No longer a mechanic, but it makes sense, that the TCM controls the transfer case too.

There are many factors that effect mileage. If I drive at 55-60, I get 21-22 mpg. I normally drive 75-85, on the freeway, and I get 17-18. Different brands of gas, will effect mileage. A headwind, or a tailwind, effect mileage. Terrain, such as hills, or even road surface, will effect mileage...

Lower options equals more payload. Sun roof, and multi tailgate, lower the most. Short bed, and quad cab, will have higher than crew cab long bed. 4x4 lowers it, by the weight of the transfer case, the extra axle weight, is un-sprung weight, so it doesn't deduct from payload.

My 2020 was like that, dimming from reflections, but my 24 works flawlessly. I even made a comment on a thread, where someone wanted to add the feature. Every vehicle before this one, even my 21 Durango, reflections from street signs, dimmed them. Now I use them all the time.

I never noticed any drop. I think mine runs 41 PSI hot, while cruising. I switch to that screen only every so often.
