Are you leaning one way and are hoping for affirmation from the crowd?
Is there a difference in the seats? Might be worth going with the one that has the more comfortable seats for you since you will be in it a lot.
My app still works, though it doesn't provide a ton of information. The Vehicle Health Report seems to work--it last updated on 09/21/23. It also shows the info you referenced in your first post.
I know this is the "is it plugged in" question, but have you tried removing and reinstalling the...
I've got a friend who, due to surgery, is not able to turn his head very far to the left or right. It's to the point where when pulling up to a stop sign, checking traffic in either direction is very difficult.
He asked if I had any ideas on how a camera setup could be added to his car that...
I have it on the stiffest setting with a 25' trailer, but that is partly because my Hellwig came with the middle holes not fully bored out and I never bothered to fix it.
I'm curious if there is ANY chance that using leather conditioners, etc... can contribute to the delamination? I ask because I don't think I've used any on the dash yet (truck is usually parked indoors) and if there's a chance it can cause a problem, I may never apply anything to it.
Good thought and I will check. I didn't attach it to the glass but to one of the vertical glass trims adjacent to the opening window. It's a Cobra dashcam.
I installed the rear-facing camera--upside down. It used one of those double-sided 3M pads (with the red peel-off strips on each side) to attach. Before I try to pull it off (I have another pad) is there anything I should know about removing it? Any way to simplify the process?
I towed a car on a uhaul trailer a few months ago for the first time. Barely knew it was back there. If you're like me, though, you'll wonder who that idiot riding your bumper is every time you glance in the rear view mirror.
That's my "problem" with the way most EVs are. I prefer the ****pit look, with gauges, buttons, dials, etc... I don't want one big screen for everything, even if it means easier repairs and upgrades. But, I'm now out of the 18-49 demographic, so I'll have to just stick with my current vehicle as...
So on the left side of the sliding window--so it wouldn't hit when the window opens? That makes sense. I guess I could have gone that route. Did yours cover any of the defrost wires?
I purchased a Cobra SC-400D a year or so ago and am just now getting around to installing the rear camera. I successfully routed the wire along the headliner edge and upper door trim. Then I wasn't sure where to mount it. The mounting piece was big enough to go across two of the rear window...
I don't think it can just be part #20. Mine have a lever under the front of the cushion that you have to press up to allow the seat bottom to slide forward and #20 doesn't seem to include that piece.
I'm looking at buying an older car (my high school dream car) off someone out of state and towing it back. My plan is to tow on a trailer, but I started wondering about those dollies you see that put the front wheels off the ground. How does that setup have any appreciable tongue weight? I know...
I'll just answer your second question. Like many people here, I reached out directly to Aaron in early 2021 because his name was mentioned on this forum as having good deals. I think since then, their business has really grown and he's probably not able to handle as many of the orders as he used...
