Another Poor Warranty Experience with RAM

In this case, the dealer dropped the ball for a few days without a clue regarding the carplay and door close issue - yet the inability to delivery a replacement radio is squarely on RAM as well as their wierd rules about requiring photos form the dealer on the floor mat and seat problem.

    Elocker AND Limited Slip??

I have the e-locker and recommend the LSD. I don't use the e-lock because you have to push a button to engage (it's fine when you know you want it but that limits the use-ability)

Another Poor Warranty Experience with RAM

It's my turn to complain - please send condolences or pile on as desired List: Axle wrap, back up sensors too sensitive, carpet bulge in floor mat, driver's seat cover came off again, LR door bounce when closing, no carplay, front tire wear, bed light out at third brake light 10/16 drop off...

    Uneven Tire Wear

My dealer pushed the camber to the upper limit to try and help - I guess that's better than nothing

    Uneven Tire Wear

After some google-ing, I may have found the issue: Outer-Edge Tread Wear Tread wear on the outer edge of a tire is rare these days, but it does happen. Positive camber, caster and toe can lead to wear on the outer edge. If you see edge wear on one side, check the thrust and setback. But, it...

    Uneven Tire Wear

Everyone reporting this problem is also reporting their alignment is within spec - so I don't see how adjusting camber would help without hurting something else

    Uneven Tire Wear

I have the same issue: I just rotated mine (2nd rotation) at 23k and both fronts are worn badly on the outside (Left front appears worse than RF). I have a limited with air

What's with the oil catch cans?

I respect your opinion but still don't see the harm caused by the oil.

What's with the oil catch cans?

The alternative is do nothing because the oil passing through is harmless. If it was necessary to 'catch' it, then the OE would provide.

How many miles on factory tires?

I've got 18k on my Goodyear Eagles - they appear to be good for another 18k or so.

Coming back to RAM... though with a rebuilt title.... thoughts?

You got a great value (I think you said $31K?) - and the longer you own it, the less the "branded title" will affect the value. Even if you have a few problems to eat, you'll still be way ahead of paying $10k more for the same truck.

Coming back to RAM... though with a rebuilt title.... thoughts?

I've purchased 5, late model, rebuilt title vehicles and chose not to do so when I bought my RAM bc I felt it was too much of an investment to have any issues. Each of my rebuilt purchases were in the $10k - $24k range - and i got them all for about 75% of trade in with <4k miles. And all of...

Largest (tallest) tire on 2020 limited 22" rims (with air suspension)

I don't see any Continental in this size - but do agree that they make a good tire.

Has anyone tried 305 45 22" Tires on their stock 22" rims?

Do you have air ride? If so, on what settings does it rub?

Largest (tallest) tire on 2020 limited 22" rims (with air suspension)

What about the Sumitomo HTR Enhanced CX2? It seems to rate better than the Forterra (the Forterra is slightly better on wet/dry traction

Largest (tallest) tire on 2020 limited 22" rims (with air suspension)

That's what I think I've decided on. Any rubbing? Are they 305/45/22? How do they ride?

Is there any truth to the "day-of-the-week build quality variance", or is it just an old wives' tale?

Many of the problems we have are the result of suppliers or design and not assembly. I do believe performance at the assembly plant comes in waves - the plant I used to work in would start to get high rates of repair in trim and then the plant manager would scream and yell until things...

    Engine Dead at 2600 Miles

My suggestion is that you understand the ramifications of this failure. It seems to me that this will cause a valve to stick closed (or not open all the way) and that is all. If true then your engine is safe.
