Good question, while I am waiting for parts I need to dry it out because it’s getting that moisture-laden smell. I’m hoping they’ll address the carpet, too, completely soaked.
Brought my truck in yesterday, window assembly being replaced and covered (TSB). But, they want to wait for the interior to be dry to assess the damage to the seats (potential issues with heated seats as well). They gave me two options, let them take the seat out to dry it, or I could dry it...
I have the cracked rear window frame that many here have posted about and today I noticed something on the middle seat. I know that they can hold a shape for a bit but nothing’s been pressed to it, and so I suspect that this is water damage. Pretty much the right idea?
Welp, add me to the list. At this point I’m not surprised, and it sucks to say that. The list since buying this truck in November is around 15(?) items long, some are still waiting parts, etc.
Cracked frame, water leaking in.
It made my system go from unusable to workable, mine wouldn’t hold a setting even while on a call. When I spoke with the guy in service he said that the tech showed him how even touching the module would make it fail.
Today I got to my destination after a 14 hour drive. I noticed a few things during those hours, it was the first time my 5th gen made that trip (comparing a 14 to a 19).
Weatherstripping is brand new (one side was done under warranty a while back) and when it’s windy out it doesn’t matter, the...
I was doing work in a house when I had my 14, a middle-aged guy was walking his dog and stopped to tell me that the truck was super nice and exactly what he’d want to buy. Had a similar thing happen recently in my 19. Maybe everything looks the same from far away but up close the detail is worth...
I’m waiting on some parts to fix a similar issue - in the meantime I put a 1/8 jack in the auxiliary port and now it works without an issue - but they will have to fix it properly nonetheless.
Curious to see if it would solve your issue, not that it’s a permanent fix, just a temporary solution.
I went from 3.21 to 3.92 and if not for the trailer it will pull, I’d have stayed with 3.21. This truck is horrible on fuel, no matter what I do I can’t get beyond 12 mpg. Lots of get up and go if I need it, but that’s not very often. If I tromped on the 3.21s it felt a little sluggish, 3.92s...
