I'm surprised all dealers don't know that this is a known issue by now. My dealer even knows about the compass issue some of us have where CarPlay navigation puts the map in a different location until the compass kicks on. They will eventually replace your media hub and it will work as it should.
I am having this issue as well. I think it has something to do with the compass. While only connected to CarPlay, my phone will only show it's correct location when the compass is working. Sometimes it takes a good 5 minutes for the Ram's compass to kick on. The CarPlay GPS location and...
Something like this?

Just did mine today. Used 1” self taping screws. 1/2” nylon spaces for the 2 clips in the middle and 1/4” spacers for the 2 end clips. If you don’t take the tailgate off, the hardest part is holding the clips on to screw them in because the clips are small (maybe use needle nose pliers to hold...
I don't have one anymore but when I had my Jeep JK I had a Cobra C75WXST.

The display was on the handheld and it was very compact. Only thing that needed to be...
I have a rain sensor for the rain sensing wipers behind my rearview mirror but don't have that option. Still unsure what is needed but I don't really use that feature in my wife's car so I doubt I'd look into it.
I took the top piece that is closest to the headliner off first. It just connects to the bottom trim by 2 nubs which you just pinch at the bottom. The other trim piece on the bottom connects to the actual mirror by pushing plastic grooves onto the metal mirror. Kind of hard to explain everything.
I’ve had some bad luck with some expensive led light bars burning out in the last. I always liked the look of the 3 dot identification lights on some of the heavy duty and dually trucks. Wondering if this cheap mini led bar would work under there. Seems to have a built in spacer for the wiring...
It never really got hot during regular use. Plus it spends most winters getting hot defroster air on it. It's not completely covered. It can still vent out the cutout and other spots on the trim. As far as the memory card...it's wifi so I can obtain footage right from my phone through the...
I replaced all 6 speakers on my Bighorn. Got everything from Crutchfield and used the metra plugs they sent. I didn't mess with polarity just plug and play. I do not have any ANC issues. I have the non-nav 8.4 and anything other than pandora, USB, and spotify music sounds like crap to begin...
Here’s driving footage. I may click the lens down one to get rid of the dots but all I’d gain is more hood. The camera has audio and gets muffled some by the trim covering but the audio wasn’t that good to begin with. Plus my window was down.
This may not work if you have a different rear view mirror or have different options. I noticed a factory cut out on my mirror trim. Took apart the trim and because I don’t have certain options and sensors on my Bighorn I was able to put my dash cam up there with all the spare room. Weird...
Was messing with my rear view mirror to see if I can install my dash cam inside the mirror trim because there’s so much room and it already has a cutout by the windshield and saw this part and looked it up. It says rain sensor. I don’t have it as a setting in my Bighorn radio settings. Why is...
I’ve gone through 3 of those cheap 3rd brake/cargo light Amazon LEDs and they did not last long. Maybe got a month out of them. At least that’s my experience with them.
