I honestly don’t think it matters the tires. If you read back there are guys that have Goodyear’s, Nexens and Bridgestone and all are having this issue. Guys have gone to different brands and it hasn’t fixed it. Personally I have the Bridgestones on my truck and I never experienced this till I...
From my experience I can definitely tell you it’s more noticeable pulling my utility trailer that weighs about 500 pounds. My vibration is exactly as you describe, floor, pedals, steering wheel and like you said if I have my knee against the door you feel it.
The last two weeks the weather here in NE Ohio has been unseasonably warm and my truck has been as smooth as ice. My dealer still hasn’t figured out the issue, but they do acknowledge it exists In my truck and 2 other trucks they’ve sold. A good friend of mine is a mechanic and while he hasn’t...
1) Dealer inventory
2) Laramie CC
3) May build date
4) Problems,
Couple of U-connect issues that have gone away and the shake/wobble between 50-70 mph, which has gone away from time to time.
5) 3960 miles
Love this truck and have zero regrets buying it.
Thanks for the update and hopefully this is the answer. I’m taking mine back in the first part of January and I wanna be able to give them something to look at. Fingers crossed for all of us experiencing this.
Nope your not nuts at all. Quite honestly if that’s the fix I’d be thrilled. Maybe that would explain it sometimes doing it and sometimes not. This truck is the nicest brand new truck I’ve ever owned and I’ve had some really nice new trucks, but this vibration really takes it down a notch for...
It’s all good! Just thought it was funny to read. My last truck was an all blacked out midnight edition Silverado and I heard from people it was ugly too. It’s all in what you like Lol.
Mine does the exact same thing. I have used the gear limiter as well as put it in neutral coming down a hill at that speed and it changes nothing. When I had mine in to look at they gave me a Jeep Patriot as a loaner and as glad as I was to get a loaner, I have to agree that it’s hard to believe...
I hear you on that. My dealer had my truck 4 days the first time and fortunately gave me a loaner during that time. Would’ve been worth it had they found the issue. At this point I told them I’d wait till they know something for sure. I keep an eye on this post in hope that someone finds the...
I hope that you get a resolution tomorrow but I honestly don’t believe it’s the tires. Guys have gone to different brand tires and while it has helped, this issue is still there. Unfortunately this is becoming a more common issue from what my dealer has told me plus guys here on the forum.
I saw a poster in another post that of course I can’t find, say he had a vibration issue as well along with some other issues and his dealer ended up replacing his tie rod ends and that fixed the issue. I know some trucks are experiencing this and some aren’t. I do think some are confusing this...
This is why I can’t believe it’s tire related. Some have gone to totally different tires and are still having the issue. It is odd how it comes and goes. There might be days I don’t feel it then the next day I do. My 15 Silverado had a little vibration right around 55 that wasn’t nearly as...
