I see this as a DEALER issue more than a RAM issue. There is not a truck in the world you will find that doesn't have some 'things' wrong with it. Don't be mad at RAM, it's the DEALER that's giving you the negative feelings.
Always hated spray in liners. They are literally sandpaper. I move furniture a lot and there's nothing like the old fashioned plastic drop in bed liners for that. A little slippery, but it doesn't ruin nice things when you have to slide them.
"Stellantis, formerly Fiat Chrysler, says the recall covers certain Ram 2500 and 3500 heavy duty pickups from the 2015 through 2020 model years. Also included are some previous generation Ram 1500 pickups known as the Classic, from 2015 through 2020. The latest version of the Ram 1500 is not...
Need more info to properly asses this.
How much did it raise the passenger side from stock height?
How long does your passenger link measure overall after the lift?
How long does your driver side link measure overall currently?
Mine has been cutting off bluetooth lately to where i have to close Pandora and reopen it on my phone to get it going again.
Hope this new update fixes that.
They are pretty quiet for the first 3,000 miles (like ALL new tires are) then they let their presence be known, but really only if your driving in total silence, no radio.
Pretty much all new A/T tires are quiet for the first couple thousand miles. It's when they get 10k or so on them they ALL...
You have to decide what's more important, looks or quiet. The Hankook's aren't excessively loud, they're just not dead quiet like the Bridgestones.
If your priority is more quiet than looks, just get the Michelin LTX and be done.
I have the Hankook Dynapro's and they look great on the truck. But yes, I don't have the silent cabin like I did with the stock Bridgestones. You know you're in a truck.
Tip:
Get rid of the 'AVE MPG' on your center screen, replace it with your speed and put the clock where your speed is now.
Your drives will be much more stress free. f I'm at 6k miles on mine and 12.6 is still considered good for my truck. Mostly around town.
I agree. Sometimes it really lurches the truck forward catching me off guard. You could seriously bump into a car in front of you if you're not ready for it.
This really is a serious issue and it obviously affect a lot of us, so I'm thinking it's not a vacuum leak or bad injector...
I took a thicker pool noodle and had to slice about 1/4 of it off lengthwise to be able to stuff it down there. Horizontal across left to right.
Just don't push it down more than about 4" or you'll block the vents which you DO NOT want to do.
Absolutely, but why should 98% of the readers have to trudge through long signatures when only 2% really want to know on such a granular level?
'Show More' would be a perfect compromise.
I think 'show more' is a fantastic idea. Can't stand long sig's. Like I give sh*t about a person's stuff on such a micro level.
People with long signatures, get over yourselves and shorten them up to basics. Nobody gives a crap.
As the OP of this thread, my issue was not the tailgate latch. It is/was the two vents on the back wall of the cab rapidly 'fluttering' open/closed at approx 40mph. Small irregularities in the road surface would disrupt the air pocket between the cab and bed to cause this.
I fixed it 90% by...
As the person who said that, I beg to differ. It was in my wife's late model Jag with a Meridian system that I noticed, for the first time in my life, that the Bad Company song 'feel like makin love' has a gorgeous acoustic guitar that dances along in the background during the main parts of the...
