Well over the weekend the same nonsense started back up with Waze and maps, so the antenna is not the fix. But when I brought my wife’s wagoneer to the dealer for an oil change I was talking to the service writer and was telling her I had an issue when using Waze and she said let me guess...
Don’t do it. I did this on an old Chevy years ago. I made it about 5 miles before the hub let loose. Apparently the cv axle plays a pretty big part in the hub holding together. It was an expensive lesson that day. Many other parts were damaged when it happened.
Does anyone with access to wire diagrams have a way to see where the aux 1 and aux 2 camera wires terminate? The pins mentioned in this thread are populated at the radio module, but I’d like to find out where the other end is if someone is able to tell me
I don’t think the lvds cable is the issue. When I had the wrong one the screen wouldn’t even turn on. Not sure of the touch screen issue. The ICS setting I think is just for the 12.1”. Did your truck have separate temp controls for driver and passenger? You said basic, and you said single zone...
I ended up getting a hold of a WiFi/bluetooth antenna and the cable that goes from it to the double green fakra on the radio module. It immediately asked if I wanted to connect my phone to Bluetooth and then asked if I wanted to setup CarPlay. I’ve been using it without wireless CarPlay and it’s...
Double check the harness under the seat and make sure the pins are in the correct location and fully seated. If you say the left taillight works on the right, try communicating with it in alfa when the lights are reversed, just to rule out the taillight assembly.
Try turning the mirror indicators off in Alfa and test the bsm system with just the audio alerts. I had an issue with my mirrors and it shut the whole system down. When you said the mirrors don’t light on startup it might indicate that the problem is there.
Pedal commander was a disaster for me. Check out the banks pedal monster. It has safety features none of the others have. Definitely a superior product over what I’ve had before
After I swapped my 8.4” for the 12.1”UC5 I have an open fakra connector on the radio module and someone told me it was for an interior camera for another vehicle that uses the same radio module. My question is, has anyone activated this either with Alfa or jscan, etc? If I use an oem camera with...
3.5” RC lift with 35x12.50 bfg ko2s. Gas mileage not great, little loss of power, but the banks pedal monster helps off the line. I like the look so I think it worth it.
Definitely can be done behind the radio, but if the wires go farther it may be useful to see where they are. Like the oem bed lights for example. The kit has you run the wires all the way to the bcm, when they are already all the way to the rear of the truck. Hoping to find something like this...
On my 22 I have used Alfa to turn on the aux1/aux2 cameras. I see the pin locations to make my connections and they are populated already as someone else mentioned. My question is, where do these wires lead? Is there another connector that they end in that might be closer to where I’m going so I...
I have the RC 3.5” in the front with a Motofab 2” spacer in the rear and currently run 35x12.50 bfg ko2’s with zero rub. I did remove the front mud flap and had to use a zip tie to pull the front liner a bit, but the result is zero rub.
So I did this last night and they came back. This morning I checked and the dashboard page is still there but performance and off road pages gone already. I agree, not with the reset procedure to disappear that fast.
