They are shoving the Ram Boxes on everyone, even though a lot of us have no need for them. They take up bed space that can be better utilized for bulky items. If you need something to carry little items, buy a storage container.
The fixed side steps are effective at reducing parking dents. Also...
I have no desire to own a Limited or a Tungsten. I don't want the air suspension, power side steps, the bed space robbing Ram Boxes they are forcing on everyone, and all the chrome . Yes the Limited has a Night Edition, but the other things are a show stopper to me.
I priced a Laramie Night Edition, Level 2 package is required, sticker would be 74K. Ford Lariat V8, black edition, comparable trim options, 20" wheels instead of forced into 22's. Sticker of 70K.
I am on my 4th Ram, starting with a '95. I will definitely look at Ford and GMC next time, also...
I have a feeling you are on your way to a Lemon Law buy back with the shifting and electrical issues.
Something changed with the switch to the new engine. My '16 tranny with the Hemi is smooth shifting, even with 74K on it.
I was looking at Durangos on the local dealer's lot. I saw a '25 Limited Longhorn in Delmonico Red sitting there. Sticker of 80K. It must have just come in as it does not show on their site yet.
I didn't look real close at it as all the chrome was a big turn off to me.
How much did they waste on the Wagoneer and GW? They could have spent that on a CRV, Equinox type vehicle with a modern fuel efficient 4.
I doubt it would have cost a billion to fix the Hemi.
I have owned 4 Rams counting my '16. I am not sure why I received the certificate. The only possibility I can think of is that I have the unlimited mileage, lifetime, $100 deductible Max Care warranty. They may want to get out from under that warranty and figure throwing out 5K will help sway...
I've looked at about 5 of the local dealers sites to see what '25's they have in stock. Most have a few in stock and a lot in transit. Seems like 95% of the Big Horns have the 3.6. Wait till people start coming into the dealers and see that engine instead of the Hemi. The big incentives will be...
I don't see any national incentives on the Ram site. Are there specific ones you know of that aren't published? If they are around 6 K plus my 5K certificate, it gets interesting. I pay affiliate pricing which is 1% under invoice.. That equals about 4500 off sticker. I suspect the incentives...
I looked at the certificate more closely. I was going to try and convince my wife to get rid of her '19 Charger and get a Durango. With 5K off, 3950 incentives, and affiliate pricing, I would have reduced the price by 10000.
However, the certificate says I must trade in the vehicle with VIN...
A couple of days ago, in the mail I received certificate for $5000 off on any Ram. This is addition to any national incentives.
In the smaller print it states the $5000 off is also good on any Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, or Alfa. Same deal with the national incentives on these brands.
I can't find...
