That's what I'm thinking, going to try to get 4wd for our previously agreed price.

Every one has differing opinions, the point is, they can be bought in that configuration off the lot, but RAM has decided to not build anymore. I told them they can either give me 4wd at our agreed price, or give me 1500 in other options instead. We shall see.

It is probably not worth running the whole plant just for custom orders. Once the begin production again, they work them in on the line.

Just put down a deposit and ordered a Limited Black Appearance Package yesterday. Was told by the guy who places all their 1500 orders that the plant is shut down until the beginning of February. He speculated that they were holding off until dealer inventory went down.

Are you talking 10k off factory MSRP? Before or after rebates and incentives? Before taxes and fees?

Most incentives at time of order state "must take delivery by..." Incentives on Limited trucks are almost nonexistent right now, I can't picture them being worse on delivery.

Not crazy! I have read and have been told to not use a gas powered blower though, as it will blow dirty exhaust all over the paint. Is it worth worrying about? I have no idea, but I use an electric for the truck and a gas one for leaves.

That's sure what it looks like. While we are talking about "only" a $500 difference on a 50-60k truck, it still feels like dirty pool.

I should have asked this with my previous question. Can anyone explain why the limited slip on a Laramie is $295 and on a Longhorn is 495? What am I missing? Also, any insight as to why the eTorque is $1695 on a Laramie and $1995 on a Longhorn or Limited? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but I'm gonna ask anyway. When configuring a Laramie Quad Cab with the 12" screen, can I get the HK system, or is it the Alpine? Thanks!
