Every one has differing opinions, the point is, they can be bought in that configuration off the lot, but RAM has decided to not build anymore. I told them they can either give me 4wd at our agreed price, or give me 1500 in other options instead. We shall see.
I posted this in the general discussion, adding here as it's relevant. Right now, RAM will NOT build a 2wd limited with air suspension.

Below is an email I just got from my sales rep that he got from the supply chain manager. Long story short, I ordered a Limited Black Appearance Package 2WD. Been waiting for a VIN over 3 weeks. Apparently, RAM won't build it with 2wd and the air suspension. Have to either opt for 4wd or lose...
Well, I ordered my truck on 1/17. Was told I should have a VIN within 24-48 hours... 3 weeks later, no VIN. I'm a pretty chill kinda guy and don't get worked up too often, but this is irritating. Emailed my salesman Friday to express my concerns. He says he has escalated the issue and will get...
Just put down a deposit and ordered a Limited Black Appearance Package yesterday. Was told by the guy who places all their 1500 orders that the plant is shut down until the beginning of February. He speculated that they were holding off until dealer inventory went down.
So, I have 2 quotes from dealers for a Limited, v6, Black Appearance Package, limited slip, and 33gal tank. The first (and not great) one I mentioned earlier is:
$60,195 MSRP including $1,650 Dest.
Sell for "invoice" $55150
$699 Doc fee
$170 TTL (?)
$3,890 Tax (6.6% in Ga. Ugh)
Total OTD $59,909...
Most incentives at time of order state "must take delivery by..." Incentives on Limited trucks are almost nonexistent right now, I can't picture them being worse on delivery.
Hello all. I am about to order a Limited Black appearance package v6 with a 33 gallon fuel tank. Below is the quote I received. Basically, selling at "invoice" plus taxes and fees, and not including any incentives that may be in place upon arrival. Thoughts?
Not crazy! I have read and have been told to not use a gas powered blower though, as it will blow dirty exhaust all over the paint. Is it worth worrying about? I have no idea, but I use an electric for the truck and a gas one for leaves.
I should have asked this with my previous question. Can anyone explain why the limited slip on a Laramie is $295 and on a Longhorn is 495? What am I missing? Also, any insight as to why the eTorque is $1695 on a Laramie and $1995 on a Longhorn or Limited?
Thanks.
I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but I'm gonna ask anyway. When configuring a Laramie Quad Cab with the 12" screen, can I get the HK system, or is it the Alpine?
Thanks!
