I've had the 1st oil change at 3,500 miles from the dealer and yesterday I changed it myself at 7,700 miles.
I drained out 7 quarts which I thought was out standing....hopefully the dealer that did the 1st oil change didn't overfill it.
The oil put in was Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic 5W-20...
Hard to imagine it was just a $95 option from the factory.
I have 3.92 in my 2019 and had 3.21 in my 2016 the 3.92 does pull better and I've not really seen a mpg hit either.
Not unless they offer an accessory kit to go from tow mirrors to regular Bighorn mirrors.
RAM CARES are you listening????? We want sales codes to be added to our VINS!!!
Below is a repair procedure (also attached) that was pulled from a TSB for the Tilt Mirror in Reverse option not working...
I can't help with part numbers since I don't have the blind spot indicators.
My advice is to find a RAM online with the correct mirrors and options that you already have (puddle lights, turn signals and blind spot indicators).
With the last 8 of the that trucks vin the dealer parts guy can tell...
Yes I did this swap it bolts on without an issue. Your existing puddle light and turn signals will work correctly.
The problem is that FCA won't allow the dealer to add additional sales codes like for Heated Mirrors unless it's part of an existing accessory kit..
So no heated mirror for...
The existing options should work but you will NOT be able to add the sales codes for the heated mirrors to your vin by the dealer.
I've faced this issue as well switching tow mirrors to the regular Bighorn mirror. FCA doesn't allow the sales codes to be added unless it's part of a factory
kit...
On my Bighorn I have the same scenario as you and swapped the Tow mirrors for the standard Bighorn mirrors.
Trouble is the dealer can't enable the sales codes for heated mirrors, auto dimming drivers mirror
or power folding mirror. It's a pain that FCA won't allow these codes to be added...
I've had this happen several times so far. It will stop working then turn the truck off and a half hour later it works. It's very intermittent.
Did the dealer fix the issue? Is it a bad camera or what?
I used a heat gun and warmed the letter it makes the posts behind the letters more pliable. Then used something with a sharp thin edge ( gasket scraper etc)
into the lower corner of the letter and flipped it forward.
It worked like a charmed the letter disengaged without a issue.
No issues with water unless you are driving through a flooded road.
I've done this same mod on previous gen IV RAMs without issue.
Plus side is a slight bump in mileage and increase with induction sound.
