I ordered protection group cause I didn’t want the elocker but did want the plates. The off road group comes with different shocks and I asssume that is where the lift is. No lift with protection group.

What posts have you read where Ram acknowledged the AC issue is even a problem much less fixable? I may have missed a post on the three threads all talking about this. I am very worried about the AC one. Owners with these trucks are paying $500+ for tint jobs just to make it more comfortable...

Right. I went into this knowing and expecting some first year problems. Steering seems bad because it is a safety out of service kind of issue. I am just hoping I don’t get the AC problems. Most everything else is fixable by a competent dealership.

Good list. I had very similar criteria. In the end we decided to get a loaded Laramie with sport appearance because any chrome was too much. Not sure what is on limited bed group but Laramie includes that cool divider and tailgate extender which I liked.

Sorry to bring you bad news but another thread on here said no one can order the etorque 5.7 until next year. No explanation why but people have suggested maybe FCA exceeded their sales projections causing some kind of shortage. Maybe Canada has their own supply.

You bring up great point. What gas are people putting in. I am assuming it is apples to apples with mid grade cause that is what the manual says to do. But I know a lot of people don’t b liege that for normal flat highway driving. That can definitely make a 1 or 2 mpg difference.

I have had three v8 trucks in the last 20 years. Mpg like that would have amazed me. Maybe all this new tech and lightweight materials really do work.
