Interesting. Because my window was done last month around the 10th of January and the package was dated after the date specified on the star report but ended in AC. So I don't know what is right.
Love my 19" Limited, air suspension makes it a dream to tow and hitch things on. Tow my 5500lbs boat all summer and its a beauty. The 5th gen interior/nav and dash in my eyes is better than anything else out there. Its a beautiful truck with the sports car amenities. I've had a couple minor...
To sum up my entire situation with getting the back window replaced:
Called into my local dealer and from start of the FCA claim and the window getting installed took one week.
- I had a crack on both sides of the powered sliding back window on the molding as most people here do
- Water slowly...
Mine was complete yesterday.
Went in one week ago and pictures were taken. Took 6 days for FCA to approve warranty work.
Window was done yesterday looks like the dealer outsourced to a local glass shop. Work looks good. No sealant or noticeable damage/things out of place.
I will see how...
Had my appointment today. After I was told they ordered the glass assembly earlier this week they now tell me they had to take pictures and send them off to Chrysler Canada to approve and said it can take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks to approve. But the dealer acknowledged the...
I have 30,000 kilometres on mine and it's going in on Thursday for the replacement. They ordered the glass assembly and everything prior to even looking at it and are prepared to inspect and replace same day. Not sure if I'm getting lucky or not with my dealer but I didn't have to wait for FCA...
After a wash the other day I noticed a crack on each side for me. Sure enough, water slowly dripping down inside the cab. Called the local dealer to book it in, told him over the phone what was going on and he said they had their first one of these incidents just a couple of weeks ago...
I've noticed that mine works as intended quite well however, there are some flaws. It seems the rear sensor cannot detect elevation changes. So, backing up hill or down a steep enough ramp or driveway will throw it out of whack and hit the brakes. Same goes for things like backing the rear over...
I worry about the winters here as they are full of snow/ice and slush. Also, the salt the cities use around here can be brutal on paint. I appreciate the suggestion
If any of you are like me, I like a clean and shiny Ram. I have been an avid user of FW1 Wax during the summer months as its easy and quick to apply and work in. I am now seeking product suggestions for the best wax or detailing products to get me through the coming winter. Any suggestions would...
That is a fantastic price, even for the CAD/USD conversion, but sadly us Canadians can only purchase through dealers for which I understand will run me more than 4K for similar terms
