    Hellwig? Hell, yeah!

With my utility trailer loaded (two bikes and gear), it handles solidly. Its definitely putting more stress to the tires vs the suspension. There is a bump mid-curve near my house and the truck kinda "skips" over it now vs soak it up. Thats the only eye-opener. I like the set up so far

    Hellwig? Hell, yeah!

I noticed. Like actually noticed....not a placebo effect.....but really only in hard cornering. If you have the rear, you won't feel a big difference. I did not until I pushed it in turns. The air-chair warriors here will tell you it is useless or otherwise without trying it for themselves. To...

    Hellwig? Hell, yeah!

I can tell you this front is way larger then the stock one in diameter. Its VERY heavy in comparison to the stock one too

    Hellwig? Hell, yeah!

I did just last week. Had their rear already on my 2021 Bighorn. When I put the rear on, it definitely tightened up the rear but if I got into a sharp turn fast, the front felt too ....soft? Like I was over-steering it. Weird feeling. That is what provoked me to buy the (expensive as hell)...

    Hemi Lawsuit May 2022 Discussion

"According to the plaintiffs, the HEMI engines should last at least 200,000 miles and the valve train components should last more than 100,000 miles." Wow..not sure i'd admit that out loud to the public. I intend to have my truck well passed 200k miles, but not if I need to replace the engine.

Set default to Media - BlueTooth possible?

Exactly. This is my exact experience every time I start the truck. No real reason to have this as intended, even if its a "lower" line head unit

Set default to Media - BlueTooth possible?

I actually took the time to write to FCA and they did provide a response that was basically like "Thanks for the feedback, we will file it in our blah blah (i.e. do nothing). Its a simple software update. Truly (im in the business). The unit is smart enough to retain last source and has power...

Set default to Media - BlueTooth possible?

Mopar’s “Ram Airflow” Cold-Air Intake System For Ram 1500:

I did. So you are saying the PCM is basically relearning new parameters? Ok that i'll buy and makes sense. Didnt think of that.

Mopar’s “Ram Airflow” Cold-Air Intake System For Ram 1500:

Dude trust me I do not get the mechanical advantage either. Its all a feel thing. I've worked on cars for years...most recently playing with a non-locking 200-4R in my 62 Nova, swapping converters to get an ideal shift point, etc..and I can't figure it out

Mopar’s “Ram Airflow” Cold-Air Intake System For Ram 1500:

Went ahead and installed. Unless its mind over matter, it DID seem like it helped acceleration down low as well as smooth out shifts. If thats true, its really sad how choked they make that 5.7.

Mopar’s “Ram Airflow” Cold-Air Intake System For Ram 1500:

LOL alllllright. I just dont want to f*ck up my chances of getting something handled on a vehicle that has its share of problems happen. So what did you notice after installing? My primary goal was to help smooth out shifts and make the overall driveability better. I read a few post that it...

Mopar’s “Ram Airflow” Cold-Air Intake System For Ram 1500:

So I just bought the Ram Airflow from @Accessory.Parts (Great experience BTW, Highly recommend..) but after reading the info directly above, now im leery about doing the install. What a bunch of BS. The whole point of me buying a MOPAR part was so it would be a true factory part. Even stranger...

Factory Halogen Headlights and Fog Lights to Factory LED Swap

So I needed to AGAIN pull apart the front to replace a bad VLAND left side headlight this weekend. I recall the first time I did this, I like you broke two of the clips (the ones closest to the grill) for that painted fascia panel. This time around, I heated the remaining bits/stubs with a...

    2019 Ram Limited Headlight conversion

For those that actually made the changeover, can anyone tell me the correct part numbers for the Laramie LED lights? I have a Big Horn and just want to go to the LED lights (not the LIMITED ones). I go online and it seems like there are a ton of part numbers out there and cannot make heads or...

Factory Halogen Headlights and Fog Lights to Factory LED Swap

This is fantastic! Really appreciate this. I went aftermarket with headlights (VLAND - Big Mistake) and I am now looking for OEM. I agree its a pain in the *** to find the right part numbers for the right headlight set ups Anyone know the part numbers that will fit a Big Horn 2021 that are...

Warning to my 5thGen brothers and sisters: Avoid VLAND Headlights

I have to agree with going OEM. bite the bullet, save longer and do it. I may have to if they don't resolve it this time but I'm not letting up until they do.

Warning to my 5thGen brothers and sisters: Avoid VLAND Headlights

I brought this up recently, buried within another thread I started about headlight options in general (https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/halogen-headlight-upgrade-your-preference-and-would-you-do-it-again.36595/), but due to my ongoing experience, I thought it would be worthy to call this...
