Do you have any data to back up your statements? As a mechanical engineer I see no difference in the offset being "on" the wheel, vs just a spacer. The truck will not see the loads any differently.
My AC sucks. I just got a new Infinity QX for my wife and it is a freezer. I have to turn the air down after a few minutes or get too cold. The RAM never cools down.
I bought it.. because i was worn the F out from being at the dealer for 8 hours. I am pissed at myself for buying into the BS, but i just wanted out of there by that point..
So in my haste I paid for window tint at the dealer, not realizing the dealer didnt install it yet (they called me later to setup an appointment, but I live 3 hours from the dealer). The rear is already tinted and I assume this was from the factory? Does anyone know what % the rear is tinted?
Installed the JBL GX302s in the dash. They sound great and are much louder than stock. However when I crank up the volume their is noticeable distortion where I didnt have it before with the stock speakers. I thought I read someone else having this problem too. I did not disconnect my ANC lines...
The JBL are really clear compared to stock. They are much louder, but I cant turn the knob all the way up without some distortion. I need to investigate this because i recall someone else having this issue. Maybe from the ANC? I didnt disable mine yet.
I sent the Kickers back in favor of the JBL due to the ohm difference. The kickers are 4 ohm, the JBL are ~2 ohm. The Kickers will be under powered IMO since the stock speakers are 2ohm. Ive seen a few other people complain the kickers are not loud enough.
How much for your extra one shipped...
The amp is doing a crossover. That is the point of my question. Putting a full range speaker in there is no efficient because only the woofer will be used.
I ordered the kickers, but now am wondering if I should have gotten the JBLs instead? Has anyone heard them both ? The JBLs are about double the price. Also, does anyone have a spare speaker after upgrading the center one they want to sell me?
Doing my research here before I begin my audio upgrade journey and i found the front door speakers are functioning only as midbass. Some people have swapped them out with full range 6x9s but that doesnt seem like the best approach. Wouldnt something like this perform much better in this...
I thought this was going to be an easy speaker upgrade. Now I get to bust out the voltmeter and check everything.. Damn. Any suggestions on order I should check things? Is it easiest to check everything from the amp or do I need to open every speaker?
