I took my Laramie to the dealer a few months ago for the tsb regarding the poor a/c performance and nothing was done either. I just noticed yesterday that the temp in the passenger side vents is in the low 40s and driver side vents is in the low 50s. I really hope a fix is available for this soon.

Maybe I’m getting old, but quieting it down a bit has made driving my truck more enjoyable.
I have an S-type on my Laramie and it’s a bit too loud at hwy speeds especially when MDS kicks in. I oredered the resonator last week. I’ll uodate you all on how much it “dampens” the sound after I install it .
I didn’t remove the liner. I used a plastic trim removal tool and carefully “many loud noises” pulled it up. All of the clips will break. Don’t worry about any pieces that fall in between the hood. A few days later when I opened the hood, the remaining pieces fell out through the small holes on...
This is what the back looks like. It doesn’t appear that you can just remove and replace.
I replaced the entire piece on my Laramie with the all-black Rebel hood bezel.
