Dealership where I purchased the truck: 1) "Truck prepped and ready to go." If it had been fully prepped they would have seen that the radio would not keep any presets. 2) After calling my salesman about the issue when we got home he said he'd have the service manager call me right away. I have...
I had a security module go out on my 07 one ton and that was the only issue with it in 125,000 miles. The 18 3/4 ton we have has been perfect. My experiences with those trucks is why we bought the 22. If I'd known we were going to be lied to by the service departments of the dealers and not get...
Tuesday, our radio was replaced because the original did not retain the presets. Thanks to RamCares, Destane, the work was done much quicker than the dealership would have done it. They never called when the replacement radio arrived.
We have two dealerships in the nearest town both lie and...
I hear you loud and clear. We had a radio replaced because it wouldn't keep the presets. The new one, installed last Tuesday, not only loses the station presets but will play my memory stick only part of the time. Today, when the truck was started, it took about half a minute before the radio...
I have used them on my trucks since they came out. Don't get the warrantied mileage from them as I have 1 1/2 miles of dirt road covered with crushed rock that eats the rubber away. They are great in the snow, quiet and a very good tire for my use.
A tech at the dealership said they have had numerous issues with the Connect radios; some work fine and others don't. We haven't had any issues with the one in our 18.
I was told the replacement comes from the manufacture and not Chrysler. Ram Cares contacted the dealership to have them order...
So, I was just notified by the dealership that I have to bring my truck in again for a "diagnostic" on the radio. One would think a diagnostic would have been done initially to determine the radio was bad and needed to be replaced. I was told 2 weeks for a replacement radio and that was over 7...
I really like my Ram EXCEPT for the radio that won't keep my settings. Over three weeks ago the dealership said that it needed to be replaced and a replacement would be in in a couple of weeks. Called them yesterday and was told the service agent would check with the parts department and call me...
I wanted the ORG and had it on the first truck we ordered but Ram informed us it would not be put on trucks with the V-6, even though the salesman's build sheet and their website allowed it. Having a 3/4 ton Ram for our serious truck needs, Baby Blue is our "car". Love our older RAM and decided...
On my way to get new shoes put on that will handle our snow, I put a hole in one of the tires. Needless to say, one can get quite a pucker watching the TPMS go from 28 to 14 in 6 miles. Les Schwab put on the temporary spare and we were able to get the new skins without any issues. I never new...
On my way to get shoes appropriate to our winter snows for Baby Blue, I put a hole in a tire. it's an eye opener watching the tire pressure drop as you're headed into town for a fix.
Learned that the temporary spare and wheel combo we have is essentially useless as the tire shop wouldn't put...
The replacement radio has not come in yet so I haven't any idea how it will work. Thanks for the info on the lights; I know the switch affects the dash but didn't have the radio on to see what happened there.
I took our truck in for a looks cause the radio presets, and surround sound and road noise settings kept going away. The dealer ordered out a new radio for us. We had a flash done previously that was supposed to take care of it but it only lasted for a week or so.
Where is the day/night setting...
Our radio wasn't retaining the station presets we put in and would change the surround sound and road speed adjustment settings so I took it in to. be looked at. Dealer said they can't do anything to fix it and ordered a new radio out.
While at the dealership, I wanted to price out the HK 3.5s...
Damage from rodents is very much an issue for us as we live "in the woods". While researching the use of peppermint oil as a deterrent, I read that it is toxic to dogs. Bummer, I thought it would be a great solution to our problem but don't want to hurt or kill my "children". I think we will...
I just spoke with a gent at CDT about installing their system for the Rams with an additional speaker for the front middle. He stated they have sold numerous of their Ram assemblies but doesn't know how they are being wired with the Alpine system. Their Ram has the stock radio. their price for...
What splits the frequency crossover between the dash and the door speakers with the Alpine system? Is it the amp or is there a separate bridge? I find the lower frequencies of the dash stock tweeters/mids too muddied and was wondering if that could be alleviated bt putting the CDTs in the...
Some questions for the audiophiles here. As a connoisseur of classical music I need clear highs for the violins, cymbals, etc. Will the Infinity Reference 3 1/2s give accurate reproductions or will the HK 3 1/2s be better; both using the stock Alpine amp. Is there any other 6X9 straight...
