2019 Laramie Longhorn at 118k miles, drivers side is leaking. I bought the truck at 75k so I don't know if the manifold(s) were changed previously. I recently began parking outside, I wonder if the colder startup temperatures could contribute to more stress on the studs.
Taking the truck into...
Visually inspect the harness and the BSM, the module may be water damaged.
Scheduling an appointment with Ram or another mechanic is in order; at least you can get the problem to repeat itself.
.. or a damaged right blind spot monitor.
Carefully inspect the harness and the blind spot monitor. The blind spot monitor may be water damaged which cannot be seen.
If nothing is seen, you may have to schedule an appointment at the local Ram dealership, or an independent mechanic to...
A damaged connection either at the harness or the passenger blind spot sensor may be disrupting the Canbus. Other devices on this network that may be affected are:
Audio amplifier
Central Vision Processing module
Comfort seat module
Comfort wheel module
Connected media center module
Display...
This problem is not unique to Ram, there's a ford tech on y-t that had a F150 platinum with the same issue, truck almost undrivable, leaky taillights damaged proximity sensors, and damaged wiring harnesses.. if I remember the bill was around $7k.
Catching the leak early is the key to preventing...
I am using the Napa Platinum filter (PFL47899), same as used on my 2011 Durango 5.7l.
In my local area, the newer style smaller filter for the 5th gen 5.7 is not readily available. The larger diameter oil filter fits fine. A messy oil filter change out is a smaller price to pay for higher hot...
Check out this thread, also you could put in some more details about your Ram in your signature this would allow forum members to better answer questions you may have about your truck. Information to include such as the trim level, engine type, option packages and modifications that have done...
That's exactly what I have, you unplug two connectors from the bottom of the security gateway module and plug them into the matching plug on the 8+12 cable. Then plug in the dongle.
Note: you can connect with dongle in acc. but you will not be able to read anything unless the ignition is in run..
I remember a post, I think it was on the AlfaObd web page somewhere..
Best results at changing EVIC cluster idle and run hours was best performed with a cabled OBD2 adapter. The issue may be the latency of a wireless link over that of a hard wired connection. Obdlink makes two cabled adapters...
I agree with you about the Longhorn grille, to me its toothy and overwhelms the rest of the front end. I have thought about swapping the Longhorn with the Limited grille, much less chrome and it is a drop in installation with the rest of the Longhorn front end.
And like you, I chose the...
The answer you are looking for is in this thread; using AlfaObd to enable the power side steps.

Installing anything other than cast iron manifolds will require an exhaust wrap to minimize heat buildup in the engine compartment. In addition to the manifolds and downpipes, tubular headers optimally will require a tune so add that to the conversion cost.
As listed above, BD Diesel does makes...
So without a tune, a hellcat pump install should include the lower psi pressure regulator spring out of the original oil pump to mitigate pressure errors. The hellcat pump is for increasing the oil volume at idle.
My understanding is that the door speakers front and rear in the H/K system are mid-bass only, the outputs from the head unit are rolled off at 300hz, so adding coaxials will not be as much of an improvement.
Speakers are 4 ohm impedance
Check out this older thread, lots of good information...
Range anxiety:
There's more energy contained in a tank of fuel, vs. a battery array with its environmental controls.
With the limited energy contained in a fully charged battery array, also consider the losses in converting that energy into mechanical energy. You have a two fold conversion from...
I also noticed upon reassembly that the intake ducting had oil adjacent to the pcv line juncture area. This seems consistent with not installing an oil catch can, and about 110k of operation. I swabbed out the intake duct. The MAF sensor looked ok so I didn't mess with it.
I've had the same hesitation issue which has gotten progressively worse, despite doing the two full throttle pedal cycles with the engine ON and not running.
Last weekend I bought a can of throttle body /carb cleaner, removed the throttle body, and cleaned out the carbon buildup. Tools needed...
