Yup held mine down for 5 seconds and the stability comes off too. Had some nice drifting after! Still cuts in on after longer slides though but a lot less.

What are you doing to have it do that? 4Hi or auto? And are you holding TC off hot just pushing once? I can get decent spin in a straight line but not like that, and it totally clamps down when I do any drifting.

He’s fully justified blaming the truck when the TCS stopped his tires from spinning. I have to agree, even with TCS “fully off” my 2021 will not spin it’s tires nearly as much as my 2017. I can barely do donuts or 4 wheel drifts, my old truck could behave like a rally car if I wanted. My only...
Dude don’t tease me. I want a power wagon so bad, just can’t justify it as outside of towing I basically use my truck as a minivan.

I’m sure most guys here have gotten stuck doing dumber sh it. 4Wd or not. I know I have. I honestly believe the reason I’m a good winter driver is from hooning around drifting and bag driving in parking lots and on the farm when I was a kid. I find it second nature correcting an accidental slide...
Just come to a stop and do it. The screen will tell you what to do to get into 4lo. 4auto sucks for very low traction situations - by the time the diff senses slip you’re often too late. It’s great for around town in snow and rain - basically like an suv awd system. 4 Hi (lock) is better for...
Mine was on my PO. Also was just in the “Chrysler mainframe” when I brought it in. Just call your service dept and have them look up your vin

So after 3 weeks unplugged I plugged the sub back in. A couple reasons.
1) I missed the deeper bass in a lot of music - particularly rock - more so guitar heavy modern lacked a lot of bass and depth. My daughters hip hop **** just needs the bass setting at -5.
2) The ANC clearly was gone...
Honestly this was a great review for a lot of guys around here wondering if they need to step up to a 2500, well done.
I’m happy with my 1500 for now but if life changes and I’m seriously looking at another 500-1000lb payload needs this is great real world info. Since my truck is basically our...
Totally agree. Why domestic (and even foreign small car makers) haven’t widely adopted diesel hybrid powertrains is beyond me. Specifically diesel PHEV where the diesel is either part of the drivetrain or just an onboard generator. Efficiency, range, cost, thermal concerns, basically until we...
That’s easier than towing a broken down F150 which our trucks are designed to do with ease. I often forget to turn my tow/haul mode on towing 6-7000 pounds of boat, I seldom notice any changes in shift points etc. I’d ask if anyone really knows what goes on behind the scenes with it (different...
Oh man I just found an old highway patrol printout in my truck. Apparently once you add 700 pound motor 500 pounds of gas 300 pound wake tower 200 pounds of life/boat gear 500 pounds of hydraulic legs 1000 pound trailer and probably 1000 pounds of food/luggage/bikes/camping equipment really add...
Congrats man beauty truck. I’m sure you will be very happy with it. Please give us some feedback on it as you put some miles on. If you end up having troubles towing with it, it means you need a 2500 and Ram needs to change their marketing - but from what you’ve said I think a 2500 is overkill...
I have a 25 foot tri toon with a 250 on it. It’s fat and heavy. Loaded with gas and using it as travel trailer hauling a couple weeks worth of gear and trailer it’s around 6000 pounds. You barely notice it towing under 40mph, as soon as you hit 55 it’s a giant wind sail. Tows with ease up to...
My 2021 limited with 3.92 22 inch tires and air ride tows way better than my 2017 limited 3.92 with 20 inch tires and air ride.
Especially with adaptive cruise and lane departure, as well as blind spot detection that includes your trailer….it’s probably 75% less stressful.

I have a 21 limited with air and came from a 17 limited with air. I tow a 25 foot big fat pontoon boat loaded around 6500 pounds and it tows with ease. My 17 developed leaks in the airbags after a few years and wasn’t reliable in the cold but those trucks were notorious for that. The system is...
After living with this system for a few days with the sub unplugged, it really is an amazing sounding system. Even the satellite radio sounds decent, but it really shines with Bluetooth and CarPlay music. I’m actually super happy with it now. There definitely is still room for improvement.
