A 1500 big horn crew, I was looking to see if anyone had replaced the rear coils with air bag type of suspension. I pull a 26' travel trailer that currently weights 6600 loaded. I use a blue ox wdh, it handles fine but the wife doesn't like the bounce feel it gets on some roads.

I mean when towing a travel trailer.

Has anyone replaced the coil springs with air bags. I want my truck to ride level and smooth.

Plenty of success with this project on YouTube,never heard anything about the ""battery pack" having problems.

I guess the big advantage for me is the chain links make it a lot easier to connect the hooks with arthritis...suck to be getting old.

Simple,should we have catastrophic failure these chain links will be the least of my worries.

You do realize that those chan links are commonly used to hoist machines and such, I worry more about the factory hitch installation

They do on mine, I'm pretty sure they came with the Blue Ox WD hitch when I bought my travel trailer.
