How is the transmission with the 3.23 gears? Does the transmission down shift a lot or search for a gear? Thanks

The 3.21 gears do just fine for me in the Rocky Mountains and out hunting and fishing or driving around the farm. I do wish I had the 3.92s again so I don’t drive 80-90 with the engine rpm’s below 2000, that way I can hear the engine screaming. Just enjoy the laughter, excuses and...

I find it entertaining the 3.92 guys are amusing and make this the best thread on this site. The 3.21 and 3.92 have the same payload. I don’t care either way if I need to tow more I would get a real truck a 3500. But for now I will keep laughing at the post

Chevy Silverado ZR2 has 3.23 gears and all the other manufacturers have similar gears. I guess RAM has the 3.92 gears for the guys to be like the women driving super duty’s to hall the kids and go to the store. lol

The PPE aluminum pan which cost about the same as the Mopar pan and the zf fluid costs me about $600 to do it myself. The dealer wanted $1200

I bought a new one on Amazon actually I bought everything the pan and zf fluid on Amazon

I installed the PPE pan 2 weeks ago, very nice pan and the transmission runs cooler
