I have been in touch with an installer in VA that has done multiple installations on Rebels, and I will be having them install 2 10" Sundown Audio SD-3's. They have custom fitting boxes for the Quadcab.
I have yet to see a thread or info on the net where a "Quadcab" installation has been done...
On stock Rebel tires, I have been in a tornadic storm with torrential downpours going 75 mph w/o issue. Mine handles like a dream in the rain, unless its a really deep puddle.
Almost 20 MPG with E-Torque off, and MDS off. 328 mile drive mostly Interstate.
Otherwise city with E-Torque off, and MDS off is around 18-18.6 MPG.
I'm now at 18,700 miles.
Always best to reset the Fuel Economy for an accurate measurement otherwise its including the idling, which kills MPG.
One thing I would ask the dealership is if there is an option to attach a laptop or some device to the computer system so it can take log files of the vehicle.
This would almost certainly give a good clue as to what's going on.
On my old Mustang I could hook up the tuner and take logs, load onto...
It is so worth it to have a dashcams for situations just like this one. Sorry to hear about the truck man. I have the Zero Edge Z3 I believe it is: Short chargine adapter and 13ft usb to usb cord comes with it. Has audio and video and you just press a button if you want to keep a video. Got...
Haven't noticed any noise here and nearing 17.5k miles. Hoping it doesn't start up. Guess my Carven exhaust drowns the noise out.
Wondering if this has to do with that adjustable brake pedal recall, but that assumes everyone experiencing it has that option.
Carven Competitor exceeded my expectations on sound level. Has a nice deep sound, and decent drone, but nothing annoying or that would override the radio.
The only thing is when MDS is on and about to cut all 8 cylinders back on...in that moment it gets very loud. One reason I keep MDS off.
While I was at the dealership they had the Mopar bug deflector in stock so I purchased it and added it t the service ticket for installation.
It was worth having the dealership install it b/c they had issues with it at first, and I had read about others having issues as well, mainly with the...
Speaking from Rebel trim perspective when MDS cuts on in order to maintain speed on a level surface I have to accelerate just to maintain speed otherwise it slowly drops so the result is it has to turn right back off, and the cycle repeats. Going downhill/coasting it's fine.
I have the Carven...
I really like the look of the Weathertech one MDBumblebee posted. It seems to extend further, and has a shine look instead of matte.
I'm curious if this is the correct part number as I need to get one: https://www.weathertech.com/ram/2019/ram1500/stone-and-bug-deflector/ Bugs are hard to...
One major issue I have with the weather map is it shows Severe Thunderstorm warnings as red boxes as well as Tornado ones. I have driven through both. Severe should be yellow and Tornado red.
On a side note with Rebel factory tires I was able to outrun the tornado in a heavy downpour requiring...
There is no excuse for auto manufacturers NOT to have every light on a 2019 vehicle to be LED. It would make them so much brighter and reduce power consumption.
I love the LED headlights, and I replaced the cabin dome light, which is like a bright white sun when the doors are open now.
