    Good for you!

25 Rebel Owners - Would you do it again?

I went from a 2023 Laramie 5.7L with 3.92 gears and 22" wheels to a 2025 Rebel. The Hurricane pulls stronger, doesn't downshift as often going up hills and gets better mileage than my 2023 Hemi. True the Inline 6 doesn't sound like a V8 but neither does a Cummins not a problem for me.

    Fuel economy

The best I got from my 2023 Laramie with 3.92 gears and 22" wheel option was 17.5 mpg.

    3.0 HO as an OPTION

That would be cool if you could get a Scat Pack 392 in a 1500. Have never understood why not since the 6.2 Hellcat was in the TRX.

    Make the jump?

For towing I would make sure it has 3.92 gears with either an e-locker or limited slip differential. The S/O comes with 3.55 gears standard.

Any RHO Owners WITHOUT L1 Package?

My local dealer had a base RHO it had leather power seats for both driver and passenger. It had a trailer brake controller and the console had single phone charging, 4 USB ports in front and 4 USB ports along with 110v outlet in back of the console. Included too is the 12" uconnect, security...

Any news on AlfaObd support for 2025 RAM?

That's great news. :) I'd like to enable the security alarm and disable the fog light dropout on high beam. Maybe go for broke and enable the performance pages too.

Any news on AlfaObd support for 2025 RAM?

Anyone heard news about AlfaObd supporting the 2025 RAM 1500 Atlantis High architecture? I know with my 2025 RAM 1500 the gateway security module is not where it used to be. Here is a YT video with some RAM engineers that explains it at 7:40

    Oil Filter Part Nimber?

I prefer this recommendation or 0W-40. I ran 5W-30 in all my previous 5.7L and 0W-40 in my 392.

    Oil Filter Part Nimber?

These engines generate allot of heat 0W-20 is for gas mileage not engine protection. The 2.0L Hurricane in my 2024 Rubicon says 5W-30 on the cap.

    Oil Filter Part Nimber?

Oil filter is Mopar 68466307AB or WIX WL10255XP and is the same as GM's 5.3 and 6.2 LS. It's WAY!!!!! easier to do a oil change than a 5.7 Hemi although it takes 7.5 quarts of (0W-30, 5W-30 or 0W-40) do not use 0W-20. Advantages to the 3.0L over the 5.7L when changing oil: 1. You can get to the...

    2025 Ram RHO Issues

I have a local dealer with a base RHO with the fixed running board option. It's wide and definitely a step.

    3.0L S/O vs 5.7 Hemi Dyno Video

You forgot about the awesomeness of the tuner era. The 2003-2005 SRT4 or 2008-2009 Caliber SRT4 they were awesome. SRT even offered turbo toys for the SRT 2.4.

    Top Speed Limiter

AlphaObd can alter it for model years prior to 2025. The factory enables the limit based on the vehicle purpose and tire type/speed rating. For instance the TRX is 118mph with my 3 vehicles the 2025 Rebel is 104 mph, 2024 Wrangler Rubicon is 93 mph and the 2021 Scat Pack Challenger doesn't have one.

Sorry not until Atlantis High architecture can be altered with Alfaobd.

    Oil sensor

Oil changes on the Hurricane are easier than the 5.7 I don't need ramps and the oil filter can be prefilled. The only trick I've used is to put a 12" x 6" tray under the oil filter tilting back into my drain pan to keep the oil from dripping on the frame and it works perfectly. Interesting note...
