I finally watched the video comparing the Hemi vrs Hurricane, and they didn’t match up well. The slower times to 60 was a no brainer with 3:21 rear diff Hemi. The downhill comparison was also off a little, when he manually chose the gear at the end, then claimed that was why he had to brake so...
Unfortunately we'll never know either, at least per the online Ram build guide. If you option the 3.0 its 3:55 and allows you to option 3:92, if you chose the 3:21 option, it kicks you back to the V6.
I didn't watch either run up the grade, I'm failure with those guys comparing HD trucks, there mostly honest on comparisons. But I did watch the trailer brake controller setup on the new dash, its about time Ram got it right, unfortunately with the 3.0, @azzx would be interested with the trailer...
Again off track from the original thread, but I will quickly answer your worry. At 65 MPH, I stay within the Semi's, most travel at 65 and most are governed at 65, until you enter most urban areas or your in Commifornia. In Commifornia trucks are regulated at 55 mph anywhere in the State. FWIW...
I'll assume then you have a Hemi with 3:92 rear diff. You have no signature, so we can't see what truck you have. I don't know if this is sarcastic or your truck is geared low. However I do have all receipts, and I recorded Dash MPG as well as hand calculated for ever gallon pumped. The Digital...
My 2020 Hemi / 3:21 / 4X4 is 15 city 21 highway and 17 overall average on the window sticker, as I posted earlier, I got 21 on Highway to Commifornia from Nashville (Franklin Kentucky). It would seem like the window sticker was right, however I was real easy on the throttle and kept it at 65 or...
MPG per window sticker is relevant, I believe (opinion) that they are inflated to help their CAFE standard. ( I got it right this time @HSKR R/T ) that was what my last post was about, manufactures cheating the system to help meet the Government regulations. I agree we have been beating our...
It’s kinda like the energy saving guide on appliances, the info is formulated from HP/watts that the manufacture labels on the motor specs. So the appliance manufacture bases the energy use on those specs and turns off the heaters in the doors, thats the switch inside the refrigerator that...
Insinuating that I only date fat chicks, that will overload a 1/2 ton, and I did find it humorous, that was what the wink emoji was all about at the end of the sentence. ;) ;)
Zzz didn’t you order it, or was it on a lot? I was looking to trade my 3500 in March last year, and I figured I have to purchase the tow mirrors most dealers told me they didn’t know if it would work on the 1500. Wouldn’t you know my wife pointed out that the truck we were looking at had the...
Nice, a Site Supporter insulting members. ;)
How about lifting them 4" and just keeps the wheels clean and the truck waxed every day. "Look how bitchen my truck is"
I posted most 1/2 ton owners overload there trucks, not grossly overload them, then there are owners that way overload them, like glamis trips. OK poor choice of words but it still happens.
I guess I'll have to see my optometrist to see (no pun intended) if my eyes deceives my reality, not yours.
I know I've parked overnight at 22K and 80K, in Walmarts to save the ridiculous campground costs and no parking at truck stops, as well as many others, commercial and private, maybe you...
Correct but when the trailer GVWR is low, say 5K lbs
Then they are equipped with surge brakes
And this is my heaviest tow since I sold my 3500 with my 34’ Arctic Fox 5ver with a GCW of 22K lbs.
Who the hell are you that tells me what I’ve towed, I’ve pulled 80k with my commercial lic you...
