I don't use snow tires.... Of course I was in Florida for 25+years. But I'm back in Michigan and not about to buy snow tires. I just stay in when the roads are bad.
It is still true that deals can be made on the last day of the month, IF, the dealer/salesperson is close to making quota/bonus. If it's unachievable, they might not care to give away something just to make a deal.
Trucks are in reasonably short supply right now. Dealers will pass on some skinny deals and can wait for higher offers. Yes, 90 days was what dealers want to move inventory within in order to the ability to keep allocation.
Both Ford and Ram apparently use the same leather seat vendor. All the leather seats come loose in the front because they use the same clip. I just re-clip mine every few weeks when I notice it is loose..
I buy what I want and what I need. I don't give a hoot what others think. I generally "X" most of the the available boxes, anyway. Ramboxes are something I'd never use. If I could order a rear sliding window delete I would. Never use that either. I do use the pano-roof quite a bit.
I can't wait for owners to start complaining about mpg once the trx is out. I'm pretty sure there will be plenty that will never see double digit mpg. 10 city 14 hwy

During the Michigan covid shut down, I used one of my Battery Tenders on my Ram. Never gave the eTorque a thought. With all the electronics, I figured it would kill the 12v battery within 5 or 6 weeks. I've got one hooked up to my GT 500 right now.
I guess $100,000 +doesn't surprise me. Trucks are cash cows for the manufacturers now. If they can build a midengine Corvette with a base price of about $60,000 with all of that technology, you'd think a truck could be built for that.
If the aftermarket light has no seal, I'd get a new one from the dealership. The OEM and aftermarket lights might crush the seal/gasket differently and a leak could happen.
I stopped by the dealer. The module goes near the right rear corner of the seat. I don't have it clipped in place but it's out of the way for the time being.
So my wife was about 100 miles away from home yesterday and somehow cut a tire. Un-fixable. So she had a friend swap out the spare. Apparently when they dug out the jack and rod a module was knocked loose along with a tab on the plastic cover. Anyway, I can't figure out for the life of me how to...
It's obvious from the questions that come up daily here and all of the other automotive forums I'm on, a vast majority of the owners never crack open their printed owners manuals. I just bought a 9 year old GT 500 and the manual was still in cellophane. I will miss it on occasion but it makes...
Just read that the F150 Owners Manual is going digital only. It'll be able to be viewed on the Sync infotainment screen in the truck. I think it's a good thing.
I have 29,xxx miles on the clock. Close to 12,000 miles were from 4 round trips and a one way between Florida and Michigan. Being retired I don't put the miles on that I did at one time. I like the truck enough that I'm thinking of hanging on to it a 2-3 more years. I'll be buying a warranty to...
