Woohoo, new parts!
Just installed the pedal commander and set it to sort +3. First thoughts.....HOLY $!?@! My wife was in the passenger seat and said “I wasn’t expecting that!” Hahaha.
Turned to city +3 and cruising around town. I really enjoy the peppier throttle response. Mark this one...
Timber Grove air bags are on, just checking for air leaks now....temporary 4” lift engaged.
Install was a breeze. Took a little over 2 hours with breaks. Worst part was laying on my cold garage floor since my creeper is broken. Everything seems quality and my only complaint is my kit did...
I’ve asked lots of questions and gotten even more answers on here, thank you all for helping me to spend all my money! So after asking these questions I ended up at the camper dealership today and traded in my 2013 23’ Jayco Hybrid camper that had an advertised dry weight of 3925 pounds and a...
I’m back peddling my statement...I might be going with a 295/60/20 instead of a 275/65/20...I hate decisions! Haha
And the trailer will be a 27’ camper with a dry weight of 6600 pounds and a tongue weight of 660. I’ll post up my findings with how it tows. Tomorrow will be the stock truck with...
I Saw this today at the dealership but he drove off before I got a chance to talk to him.
I wish I had better pictures. It’s 33/12.5/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on stock bighorn rims and according to the dealership a 2” leveling kit. They said they did not think he had wheel spacers. Is that...
I’ve posted way too many posts and asked way too many questions the last few days but I’ve decided to go with a 2” leveling kit, stock rims, and a 276/65/20 Nitto Ridge Grappler in a load range E. Thanks for the help everyone!
Might play it safe and go with a 275/60/20. They make this size in a load range E Trail Grappler and a load range D General Grabber ATX so I’ll have options.
So, everyone that has the RC leveling kit and has opted to stay with stock rims....what size tires are you running without issues? Could I get away with a 275/65/20? It’s the same width as stock but 34” tall.
Next question...about how much further? Lol
I appreciate the help, you are clearing up lots of questions I have. I found a rim I’m thinking of but it only comes in 0 and -18 is why I’m asking.
I hadn’t planned on doing new rims, just sticking with the stocks but the more I look, the more I want. Can you help me please...
I will be staying stock or 2” level kit at most and I want to stay with a 20” rim. I won’t be going huge with a tire, between stock size and a 33” all terrain at...
Got the deal done, I go to pick it up Wednesday. Went with a 27’ fun finder bunkhouse...rated at 6600 dry weight and 660 hitch weight so real world numbers will be well within my rated capacities. I also just got a set of Timber Grove air bags ordered and am shopping around for a decent load...
Yes, please do! I will give them a look, a D rated tire would be perfect since I’m sure I won’t ever “need” the full range of an E tire. I’m just trying to get something heavier duty to help with trailer sway.
I suppose I am in the minority here since I plan on staying stock height and stock rims...lol. Anyways, I have the 275/55/20 Bridgestone Dueler H/L tires but I want to swap out to a heavier duty tire for towing my camper. The problem is, I can not seem to find a load range E tire in my size. I...
