The tips hold up pretty good. Mine lasted a day :( I was backing into a spot and i guess there was a low shrub there and the tips caught it. Shrub scratched the dip off a bunch of spots. I got the oem black tips off a member here for $85 a week later.

I haven't changed the oil yet on this one so not sure the setup, but my favorite way to not make a mess with an oil filter is to break it loose with my tool, then grab a solo cup and spin it the rest of the way off with the cup. Cup catches the filter and whatever runs down the side. Hopefully...

I spray my wheels every month with an SIO2 spray, like Gyeon Wetcoat or Sonax Spray and Seal. It makes cleaning them simple.

It's pretty fool proof, clean really well, one light coat, 6 or so heavy coats. Done. Anyone that messes up can't follow simple instructions.

The black badges are pretty cheap. Personally I'd much rather spend $120 for factory black badges than rattle can my 50k truck with a rubberized coating. It's really easy to do it right on these trucks.

I didn't snap any prying them out. If you do, you will need to get the old clips out. DO NOT snap anything off your new pieces.
