If you financed through a credit union, check with them on extended warranties. They are way cheaper than factory prices and highly rated. I got a 6yr/100k/$100ded. for $1500 on my 17'GMC Sierra. They recommended not to purchase the ext warranty until right before the factory warranty expires...
You should be able to cash out the remainder of the warranty in that case. I had just added a extended warranty to 17' GMC through my credit union in March for $1500. I traded that truck to buy the RAM and they reimbursed me $1400.
That is strange. I have a 19' Longhorn with the offroad package and a leveling kit. This is the smoothest/best riding vehicle I have ever owned. My last 2 trucks were a 13' Ford F150 Lariat and a 17' GMC Sierra All Terrain, and this Ram blows them out of the water. The ride is incredible.
I have a few paint defects on one running board and rattle under the dash on the drivers side. The dealer is getting repairs scheduled today. Other than that its perfect. 800 miles so far.
