I started out using tow/haul mode but then the truck does some unnecessary downshifting when braking or coasting toward a stop. So the +/- option is still better IMO.
Realized I didn’t answer you on offset. I wanted my tires under my fenders as much as possible but I would have been ok relaxing that a bit. I’ll get you better pictures in the daylight soon.
07/23 edit: adding two daylight photos.
The 37's look awesome for sure. From strictly ascetics, sometimes I see my tires as too small but other times just right. All that said, hands down, I like the overall performance of the 35's. With 3.92's and the Hypertech speedo calibration, there is no issue with this truck hunting for the...
Thank you. 100R with headliner and fold-down sliding front window which allows you to clean both the shell window and the outside of the rear pickup window. I've since added a Rhino Rack too.
BDS 6" allows 18" rims. I had exactly the same issue (trying to find a kit that did not require 20's) and BDS came through and solved it! I have 35 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on 18x9 5" backspace. Perfect for what I wanted.
I'm interested to know more about the BDS complaints on "method of drop." Not sure what that means. I had the BDS 6" installed on mine and love it so far (2,200 miles). I went with it vs ProComp and others because BDS offers replacement control arms (as an upgrade) and also because their kit...
Things have settled in nicely. I'm still slightly high in front but I'm not unhappy about it. It's hardly noticeable and sometimes it even looks perfectly level. The truck drives beautifully. I couldn't be happier with this vehicle. So far, I've only towed my ski boat but it tows very...
Thank you. No, I honestly wasn't too worried about tow capacity because I mostly tow a ski boat or a flatbed trailer with Jeep on board. Not really going to reach the upper limit in other words. In towing my boat, however, I am noticing more spring compression than I thought I would. I'm...
Thanks. Sorry for delayed response. No trimming and no rubbing. I went with 18x9 with 5” backspace which frankly surprised me how close the tires come to my steering knuckles. I don’t think it will be an issue and BDS publishes that spec to be ok. But I’d advise 4.5 backspacing to anyone else...
Back at ya brotha. My last two trucks were white so my wife talked me into getting a different color this time. But I do love the white trucks with sport appearance package. Good choice!
I concur. Just mounted my first set of Ridge Grapplers for a change. I ran 3 sets of Toyo Open Country A/T’s on a 2500 which are very quiet. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the Nittos.
