Anyone else having Uconnect / iPhone 11 pairing issues? Neither my nor my daughter’s 11’s will pair with my pickup. My previous iPhone 7 paired in seconds.
At 4.5” backspace and 18’s, I think you’ll be fine with the 6” lift. I can’t speak to the 4”. BDS Tech is very responsive, however. I’m guessing you’d be fine with either kit but it’s worth double checking with their Tech. Your truck looks awesome. Probably even better with a little more lift.
I’ve read and heard a lot of good stuff on the Ko2’s. I have about 4,500 miles on my first set of Ridge Grapplers and I love them. Surprisingly quiet given the aggressive tread pattern. Prior to these, I ran Toyo Open Country AT’s because they were quiet and good in snow. But I’m liking the...
I have the BDS 6” on my ORP which has the same stock ride height as the Rebel. My truck rides and handles beautifully. I did the upgrade on UCA’s and Fox rear shocks. BDS Tech said to leave the front preload spacers out for ride height ~ .5” raked to back. But we left the spacers on and are...
I have the BDS 6" with an aftermarket 18" wheel and 5" backspace. No way anything greater than 5" would work. If I had my druthers, I'd be no greater than 4.5. I'm still a little concerned what may happen in winter driving due to low clearances between the rims and brake calipers as well as...
I did the Flowmaster American Thunder cat back all stainless with black tips. I liked it because it was 3” tubing all the way to the 4” tips and bolt on. Some of the other cat back systems are 2.5 and 2.75 to 5” tips. To me under “normal” driving conditions, it has a throaty sound comparable...
I did the S&B cold air intake along with the Flowmaster American Thunder Cat Back and am very pleased. Reason I went with Flowmaster is it’s 3” all the way back to 4” black tips (I believe most others are 2.5-2.75”). Very throaty almost like an old school big block with headers and tuned muffler...
In my opinion, it’s bit of a crap shoot with ORP. On YouTube, there is a guy that installed the 6” Fabtech coilover on his ORP (see 1500 Overland). He also replaced the ORP rear springs with factory non-ORP but still ended up raked in the back. I installed the BDS 6” spacer lift including...
I’m with Silversurfer... in the end, you gotta do what’s right for your own strategy, budget, etc. The Fabtech Dirt Logic kit looks nice. If your truck is ORP, however, you’ll end up having to replace your rear springs to non-ORP part # or you’ll end up with an extra inch of rake in the back...
Yeah, I was just flippin you crap because we both have 35’s but I have 4” more sidewall. My wife has a Q7 and the summer tires on 22’s run way rougher than the winter tires on 20’s (same overall diameter). I’d double check that your stock shocks are long enough to be within tolerance at 6” of...
Mine has ORP so I definitely wanted to replace UCAs. I felt 6” on top of ORP was going to push the stock UCA’s too far. When I look at the angle of my ball joint, I definitely think it was the right decision. I would spend the money even if I didn’t have ORP. Plus, the aftermarket UCAs have...
Procomp is a good value and many folks have been very satisfied. I went with BDS because 1) they allow 18” wheels v 20” 2) they match up their own UCA’s (as an upgrade) 3) they replace the rear springs v spacer lift them 4) I will most likely upgrade to their coil overs (which are just now...
