Probably drawing too much power from that circuit. Would be better off to run a relay to the switch from that circuit instead of powering the light from it. Power the light from the battery.
I went with a Laramie for myself with the bench seat and 3.92. Absolutely love it. The thing that sucks about your config C is that trailer brake controller. I think that eliminates the surround view camera as the brake controller comes with the tow mirrors. Of course I do not think the surround...
I agree, I wish the center seat could move back or forward or have the back recline a bit. That would be tough considering all of the controls underneath the seat for the rear. But I do notice when the seat back is up that it is never even with the driver or passenger seat and that bugs me a...
That quote you have for $2,500 sounds reasonable (especially if it includes the tank) and I would just go with that and be done with it if you need the bigger tank. It would save you a lot of headaches doing it yourself and breathing gas fumes etc. in the process.
So I got the light wired per the plan above and it seems to work well. Anyobe know the best spot and method to route the switch wires through the firewall and into the cab?
I recently installed a 20 inch light bar behind the lower grill and now need to wire it up. The light has a DRL mode and bright mode as well as off. It came with two relays that look like they are already connected. Need your guys advice if my plan to hook this up will work. It has a three way...
I too wondered what I should get for the snow. Ultimately I went with the E-Locker because I think the 4wd modes with the traction control and driving at reasonably slow speeds with good tires should perform great in the snow then if I get into any one off oh sh*t really deep snow or off road...
I agree that I would expect a little better with the HK name behind it. I would also like to add better sound proofing in the panels to improve sound. My thoughts are, improvements via replacing the speaker components are all doable but how would we be able to hook it up to the stock stereo...
Was thinking about this with my Harmon setup but I think it sounds good enough. A better equalizer would do wonders probably. I would also like to put some polyfill in the subwoofer box to improve the bass sound there.
How did the install go? I imagine with the bumper on that removing all the push pins for the grill and little screws would be a royal pain but doable with a strain neck and scratches all over arms. A lift would help.
I think this is part of the battery saver mode. I can see how this will be super annoying when going to the drive in movie theaters. I looked through the owners manual and have not found a way to disable it.
I have the one with part number 74840-01A and it fits my 2019 5th gen laramie. Same as in your post. I like it a lot. make sure you have a fresh drill bit to drill through the bed liner. I broke a bit trying to get through it to install the pivot thing it sits in.
