I have a 2019 but didn't get a letter. I wonder if it's early built 19's that are affected. For anyone who got a letter what's your build date? Mine in 7/19.
Mine fits like that too. Wait till you wash it. Just hold a stream of water on all the edges of the vents at different angles and debris never stops flowing out of em. Bugs, leaves, pine needles, dirt. It seems neverending.
My Borla was crooked as hell. I had to eventually take it to a local muffler shop he had to heat it up red hot then use a large steel bar to reef on it.
At first I was like oh man what have I done, I loved how quiet my truck interior was, lol. But I love the rumble too. I got used to the sound. I wouldn't say there's an annoying drone like some cheap mufflers but there's extra cabin noise.
I have the s type and it's perfect. It's loud but not douchey. Lol. The atak would be annoying for a daily driver. Waaaaay loud. I was worries the stype wouldn't be loud enough and I was wrong it was plenty loud. And throaty.
Lo ng story short dealer installed an old window yesterday manufacturered 9/2020 part ending in AC. Supposed to be installing windows manufacturered after 11/26/2020 part ending in AD. So check your windows people. Still old ones floating around that haven't been purged. Now I gotta go through...
So the saga continues... I checked the build date on my new rear glass and it's 9/2/2020. So I look at the star case for the windows and it says DO NOT USE WINDOWS MANUFACTURED BEFORE 11/26/2020. So I tell the service advisor they used an old part when I went back for the seatbelt fiasco he...
Yeah the truck was done. The job was contracted out to a mobile glass company. I picked the truck up an hour after the advisor called me. There was no mobile glass company on the premises at 3pm.
I picked my truck up today from having the rear window replaced under warranty for the infamous crack. I get home and inspect their work and I find a seatbelt not reinstalled tools under the back seat a connector not attached and trim not tucked back under the rubber weather seal. I went back to...
The window was never really the problem. It was the sealant Ram used with the window. The manufacturer of the window specified a flexible sealant and Ram used a rigid one so when the truck flexed there was no give and the flex transfered to the weakest point which is the truck plastic window...
Dealership called me this morning and said they would replace my rear window. That they got the ok. I'm very happy with that but why did they have to be so combative right off the bat. I told him that they would replace a cracked frame and he wanted to just argue about it cause I said it's not...
Just went to the dealer I have the rear window Crack. He said well is it leaking? I said no not yet but my truck wasn't built with a cracked rear window frame and I would like it fixed. He said well chrysler is only letting us replace windows that leak. That seems absurd to me. @RamCares is...
