well I painted these myself so all the labour sanding and painting was me but in canada that would cost about 350 per wheel .powder coating probably quite a bit less
funny, I thought you had said you had removed that bolt already.... I remember it and got it from the inside holding the fender liner out of the way... also I have a lift so easier to see I guess... too bad it broke but as you said wheel flares will hold it in place
All I know is when I put it back together all it does is slide in between that long plastic block and the flange on the metal fender and that's how I removed it. It's a tight fit probably because the paint wasn't fully cured and it bonds a little bit or sticks a bit when you're trying to release...
I wish I had a picture of the flange on the fascia but it really is just a slip in joint in behind that plastic block. So just start forcing the lower part out of the slip joint first and once you get a little movement there hopefully you can work up and remove the whole piece
No sorry you misread that the wedge just holds the fender flares away from the fenders to give you more room. The front fascia just has to be pulled out straight from that plastic block but no wedges there
I was going to do gloss black but against the white it would have been a lot of black so I decided to add some metallic and a bit of white two tone it down. But black is always nice
I decided that the stock 22in wheels were a little busy looking so decided I would paint them in a metallic titanium color and I think it will look really good I get them on the truck.
That wheel has lots going on in its design and thought one color would look better on it
That was difficult procedure for me also . The fascia slips in between the plastic block riveted onto the fender edge but it was seeming too hard to remove.you need to remove more tabs on the fender flairs and stick a soft wedge back closer to the cab between the fender and flare to hold them...
Just finished putting my truck back together after painting the whole front end...wow what a job that was!! But could do it way quicker now that I know how! This is the finished product including the side mirrors. Before and after pics
