I got a text from my dealer today saying my truck is in the recall and parts are shipped. Said it was a 20min fix. It does now show a recall on the owner site now, it did not a few days ago.

Welcome to the forum. I had in mind what i wanted and checked a 500 mile radius with no luck so i ordered. No buyers remorse that way, did my research and got the truck i wanted. Did the same with our Jeep.

I really like the comfort of my Ram. It's not just the air ride but the comfort of the seats. I traded a 2016 F150 platinum crew 4x4 and it was nice but imo the Ram has so much more comfort. My first Ram and really happy with my truck.

Had mine serviced today and they checked and it was in the recall. All they had to do was to check the torque on a ground lug. Located under the hood, drivers side. They loosened it and retorque.

It will not be in a few weeks. Probley more like a couple months but if you qualify it will come.

I traded a 2016 F150 crew platinum for my ram. The Ford was a great truck but after driving a new Limited Ram, i was sold. The interior is nicer and i think more comfortable. As far as the back seat, my 6'7" 270 Ib grandson rode back there and commented about the good leg room back there.

I also qualified for $250 from Bonus Drive and $500 for being a Sam's club member. The Bonus drive comes in form of a check you have to wait for. The Sam's club came right off the price.

It's a Bonus Drive thing. I did it on my jeep i bought last january, it took 4 months for my $500 check to come. Then they lowered it to $250 which i just got yesterday for my Ram. The check came from Ram.

I haven't done it yet but just watched a you tube video. Yeah, it's up in a hole but does not look that bad if you have ramps. Only thing i would add to the video is once you loosen the filter put a baggie around it to catch the oil so not to make so much of a mess.

I have the gatorbacks and am really happy with them. They really do a good job of keeping the road crap off your truck but i have read the same thing about the duraflap. I think both are definitely better than the small plastic bolt on's.

I have a 6 1/2' high garage door. I was worried it would not go in or i would have to drop the air suspension to get in. It clears by about 2" but i do pull in on a incline and i think that helps.
